Chapter 60 Wouldn’t Harry Know

“Ms. Stone, do you think he’ll agree?” Keith asked, a flicker of unease in his voice.

However, Michelle remained calm as she touched up her makeup. After applying her lipstick, she studied her reflection in the mirror before smiling in satisfaction. “He’ll say yes, without a

doubt.”

She put her cosmetics away and turned to Keith. After a moment’s thought, she said, “Gather some data on companies in Neovara, specifically anything connected to the Quinn Group…

Hmm…’

Keith began taking notes, waiting patiently for her to continue.

A smile slowly played on Michelle’s lips. “Do you think any of these big shots have a thing for pregnant women?”

Keith paused, then quickly searched on his laptop and sent her the results.

“There is one. Tony, the owner of Auron Biotech. Media reports suggest that women at

various stages of pregnancy were sent to the hospital for miscarriages after sleeping with him.

Michelle’s decision was immediate. “He’ll do.”

Keith nodded.

“Make it look natural. Don’t let anyone get suspicious,” Michelle said, her voice light and

cheerful.

She was curious to see how Catherine would handle the situation.

After taking a shower, Catherine noticed several missed calls on her phone. They were all from

Rachel.

Assuming it was urgent, she called her back. That was when she learned Rachel’s birthday was coming up next week, and Nigel was planning a big celebration.

“Rachel, I don’t think it’s a good idea for me to come. Harry won’t be happy,” Catherine said. She genuinely wanted to celebrate with Rachel, but she worried that her presence at the Zimmerman residence would only draw Harry’s ridicule.

Rachel reassured Catherine. “Harry doesn’t matter. He’s not the one calling the shots at the Zimmermans’.

“Nigel wants you there. He wants to see his precious grandchild. After the baby is born, the child will inherit all of the Zimmerman family’s assets.”

Rachel became especially excited when she talked about the baby.

Catherine couldn’t help but be caught up in her excitement. “Okay, I’ll be there then.’

“Don’t worry about bringing any other gifts. Just bring your prenatal check-up results and the ultrasound photos. That’s all I want,” Rachel added. Her perspective had clearly shifted.

She had been upset for a long time over her tragic pairing, but thinking about Catherine still carrying her precious grandchild made everything bearable. As for Harry, she no longer cared

who he was with.

After all, Catherine was carrying the future heir of the Zimmerman family.

Catherine hummed in agreement, her hand resting gently on her slightly swollen belly.

Rachel had said she would leave all of the Zimmerman family’s assets to the child in her womb, but wouldn’t that mean Harry would discover he was the father?

Though a little uneasy about that, Catherine felt comforted knowing her child would have a loving grandmother and grandfather, even if a father’s presence was absent from her child’s future.

After ending the call, she poured herself some milk and returned to her room to rest.

Despite Rachel’s request not to bring a gift, Catherine had bought her an emerald bracelet.

On her way to the Zimmerman residence, Catherine stopped for her scheduled prenatal checkup.

When she saw the report confirming that the baby was perfectly healthy, she couldn’t help but clutch it to her chest.

The baby would be born in six months.

Catherine had calculated that the due date would be around the start of spring next February. She still didn’t know whether it would be a boy or a girl.

She placed the pregnancy report carefully inside the gift bag she had chosen. Early the next morning, the Zimmerman family’s car pulled up to pick her up.

Before she even got out, she spotted Rachel and Nigel standing by the fountain, waiting. The moment she stepped onto the pavement, Rachel practically ran toward her.

“Cathy, give me the gift!” Rachel exclaimed, unable to wait a moment longer.
