My Deceased Wife Wants a Divorce (Hannah) novel Chapter 347

A dead silence fell over the hospital room. After a long moment, Sandra finally spoke, a bitter smile on her face. "Why? You ask me why? Because she owes me!"

"The person who was supposed to marry you was me! It was me! I was supposed to be Mrs. Rosenberg, but she stole my place!"

"I was the one who saved you first, but you fell in love with her. She got everything she wanted and still played the victim, becoming Mrs. Rosenberg only to demand a divorce. And in the end, she turns out to be the heiress of the Temple family. But what about me?"

Sandra’s heart ached, her eyes red as she stared at him.

"The Woods family went bankrupt, and your handouts were useless. You asked your friends to help, but Quennel blocked them. Why is it that my family falls into ruin while Hannah's life just gets better and better!"

Who could possibly understand how devastated, how jealous she had been when she learned Hannah was Cheryl Temple’s daughter?

Why did Hannah get to have everything, while she lost more and more?

When they first met, Hannah was just an orphan with nothing, completely dependent on Lionel!

But now… now…

Her thoughts spiraled, her grief and anger mounting until each breath was a sharp pain in her chest.

She lowered her head, tears falling one by one onto the bedsheets.

Lionel had never considered her motives, and hearing her words now, he was heartbroken.

"Just because of that?" Lionel asked coldly.

"Yes, just because of that! Isn't that enough!"

If she had known it would come to this, she would have married him no matter what. Who cares if he loved her? At least then, even if Lionel didn't help the Woods family, she wouldn't be suffering like this!

"Lionel, I finally understand why Hannah wanted to divorce you. Because you're not worth it. You're really not worth it!"

Sandra let out a cold laugh and turned to look out the window.

The room fell into another dead silence.

They had torn each other apart. There was no going back.

"Lionel, give me fifty million as compensation, and we'll have nothing more to do with each other!"
