My Deceased Wife Wants a Divorce (Hannah) novel Chapter 352

"So what if she knows? That's... What? She knows? How does she know!"

Sandra finally processed his words, her eyes widening as she stared at him.

Lionel didn't respond. He had already made it perfectly clear.

Sandra's brow furrowed as the pieces fell into place. "Quennel gave the recording to Hannah? And then Hannah went to you, which is why you came here to ask if she'd visited?"

Seeing she had finally caught on, Lionel nodded.

"So what does she want now? That fifty million is what you owe me! I paid for your education, gave you connections, and helped you find business! Lionel, search your conscience and tell me, could you have achieved what you have today without me?"

Sandra was in a full-blown panic now. She had barely mentioned the money, and Hannah already knew and had gone straight to him. It was obvious she was trying to stop Lionel from giving her the fifty million!

This was a debt he owed her! What was wrong with her claiming it?

"Lionel, without me, even if you'd been found by your family, you'd still be an illiterate fool who knows nothing about business, just another rich playboy! I, Sandra Woods, made you who you are today! You can't betray me! You can't do this to me! I'm your benefactor!"

As she spoke, Sandra burst into tears.

In that moment, she finally understood what it meant to have lost completely.

From trying to force their divorce so she could take Hannah's place, to now begging for fifty million—and even that was being blocked by Hannah!

She had already retreated so far, so why wouldn't they just leave her alone?

"What do you mean, I gave them to you willingly? Which one of those things didn't you explicitly say you wanted or liked? The only exception was that one necklace—the one meant for Hannah. Owen gave it to you by mistake, and what did you do? You turned around and gave it to someone else to sabotage the Temple family's security system."

Lionel looked at her, his voice growing cold and steady. "Hannah has already contacted a lawyer. She said if you don't return everything, she's going to sue."

Sandra's crying came to an abrupt halt.

She looked up at Lionel, her eyes red, and suddenly burst into laughter.

"Go ahead! Sue me! I didn't steal them, and I didn't rob you for them! You gave them to me! What right does she have to interfere with gifts you gave me? Isn't Hannah overstepping her bounds? She won't let you give me the fifty million, and now she wants to take back things from the past?"

"Lionel, look at yourself! What man from a wealthy family acts like you? Aren't you afraid of becoming a laughingstock? The great Mr. Rosenberg, taking back gifts he gave to a woman. Have you no shame!"
