My Deceased Wife Wants a Divorce (Hannah) novel Chapter 371

Hannah's eyes narrowed as a bold idea surfaced in her mind. But without concrete evidence, she didn't voice it.

"What happens between you two has nothing to do with me! I'm just telling you what I know. Quennel was the one who hurt you, so you should be going to him for answers!"

Seeing how eager Sandra was for her to confront Quennel, Hannah knew she wasn't just being kind by revealing the "truth."

She wanted to light the fuse and watch the fireworks from a safe distance.

Hannah let out a faint smile and slowly stood up. She looked down at Sandra, her eyes filled with a mix of mockery and disgust. "Just because you say Quennel drugged me doesn't make it true," she said coldly. "You have no proof, and you want to ruin my relationship with him? You must be dreaming."

"Sandra, I'm not Lionel. I don't just believe anything you say. You should save that story for him."

"As for what you just told me, I can't just pretend I didn't hear it. I'm going to see Quennel right now and tell him you're slandering him. Whatever he decides to do to you after that is your problem, not mine. And don't forget, I didn't force you to say anything. You told me all on your own."

With that, Hannah turned and left the hospital room.

Samuel hurried to catch up, whispering to her, "Do you really think Quennel did it? What would be his motive? Don't tell me he's in love with you. That doesn't make sense. If he liked you, why would he drug you? He should've tried to stop the wedding, not push you two together!"

Hannah shook her head. Honestly, she wasn't sure if she could believe Sandra's story. Quennel had always been friendly and respectful, never crossing any lines.

More importantly, she and Lionel had met with Quennel at the Rosenberg estate fewer than five times back then. Quennel had no reason to do something like that. Besides, the Woods family wasn't a threat to him at the time.

Seeing the troubled look on Hannah's face, he knew she hadn't invited him just for a casual cup of coffee.

"Quennel, there's something I want you to hear."

Hannah had recorded Sandra's entire tirade on her phone.

As the recording played, Quennel's expression remained unchanged.

"She just told Lionel the same thing not long ago."
