My Deceased Wife Wants a Divorce (Hannah) novel Chapter 377

Samuel, sitting beside her, almost burst out laughing. He knew Hannah was sharp, but he had no idea she was this good. She was offering them a way out, but they were trapped either way.

For a moment, the siblings were at a complete loss.

The room fell silent, but less than thirty seconds later, there was a knock on the door.

At the inopportune sound, Gary felt his world go dark.

No one in the room moved. It was so quiet you could hear each other's heartbeats and breathing.

The knocking came again, each rap echoing in Gary's chest, making it impossible for him to think straight.

"You booked this room, but the service seems lacking. We're already inside, yet someone's knocking like a maniac. Anyone would think you're hiding from someone. Why don't you go see who it is?"

Hannah leisurely poured herself a glass of red wine and spoke in a relaxed tone.

At this point, Gary had no choice but to face the music. He got up, opened the door, and upon seeing the person outside, he leaned in and whispered, "Don't you dare say I set this up."

Lionel had known they would resort to some underhanded trick to get Hannah to meet him.

He just hadn't expected them to try and make him the fall guy after luring her here.

They wanted his cooperation, but they also wanted him to take the blame? Lionel wasn't about to play their game.

"Hannah, I didn't expect to see you here," Lionel said as he walked in. "This brother and sister duo invited me to talk business. I had no idea they invited you too. It seems they're plotting something."

Cherry demanded, "Why did you invite her?"

"Isn't she Gary's girlfriend? I thought since we're all having dinner together, it would be rude not to invite her. I just didn't realize you two had also invited an outsider. I really don't understand what you two are thinking."

Suddenly, the atmosphere in the private room turned exceptionally bizarre.

Hannah had already filled Gloria in on what to expect, so she wasn't surprised by the scene.

"Ms. Green, thank you for your kind invitation today. I'd like to propose a toast!" Gloria poured a glass of red wine.

"Everyone, please, sit and eat." Hannah clinked glasses with her, speaking as if she were the host of the evening.
