My Deceased Wife Wants a Divorce (Hannah) novel Chapter 378

Samuel silently swirled the red wine in his glass, downed it in one go, and let out a satisfied sigh.

He decided then and there he was sticking with Hannah from now on. This was the life, watching her put everyone in their place.

Gloria also finished her wine and broke into a happy smile, taking a seat next to Hannah.

If Hannah hadn't briefed her on the situation beforehand, the tense atmosphere with so many people would have scared her to death.

Ever since Gloria had entered, Gary's eyes had been glued to her.

"Gloria, what are you doing here!" he finally snapped, unable to restrain himself any longer.

Now that she had Hannah backing her up, Gloria was no longer intimidated by Gary's harsh tone. She raised an eyebrow.

"I'm here for a reason, of course. You'll find out what it is soon enough, so you don't need to ask."

Seeing Gary about to lose his temper, Cherry quickly grabbed his arm and whispered, "It's too late to get angry now. Let's just see what Hannah is going to say."

When she let go of his arm, she realized her own palm was slick with sweat.

Damn it, how was Hannah so intimidating?

She was younger than her!

Cherry began to regret her actions. If she hadn't picked a fight with Hannah in the first place, they wouldn't be in this situation.

But what was done was done.

"Since everyone is here, I'll get straight to the point." Hannah put down her wine glass and slowly looked up at Lionel. "You don't seem very curious about this, but I am."

"Mr. Rosenberg, can you give me a straight answer? Was it Sandra who damaged the drive, or someone else? Has someone been sabotaging us all along, feeding us false information?"

Gloria quietly ate her food, her ears pricked up.

She was curious too. She knew all about Sandra and Lionel's affair; Sandra had always treated it as something to brag about, sharing every detail.

Even if she didn't want to know, she was forced to.

But as for who destroyed the drive, she already had a pretty good idea.

Lionel's expression grew darker and darker.

A dead silence fell over the room. After a dozen seconds, Lionel asked in a heavy tone, "Are you sure the contents of the first USB drive you gave me were fine?"
