My Deceased Wife Wants a Divorce (Hannah) novel Chapter 442

Listening to Hannah’s disrespectful tone, David’s anger flared, and he snapped, “A young woman like you can go ahead and get a divorce if you want, but what are you doing dragging our family into it?”

“Let me tell you, those posts you made online have been shared and commented on by countless people, and they’ve caused serious damage to our family’s reputation. I’ve spoken to a lawyer, and for what you’ve done, I have every right to sue you. If you don’t delete those posts immediately, I will have my lawyer file a lawsuit.”

David grew more agitated as he spoke, eventually rising to his feet and pointing a finger straight at Hannah’s nose. “I came here to discuss this with you calmly, so I hope you won’t push your luck.”

Despite the force and menace in his booming voice, Hannah remained completely unfazed, a faint smile playing on her lips as she sat down.

A maid brought her a cup of coffee. Hannah lifted the cup, blew gently on the surface, and took a leisurely sip. Her calm demeanor was infuriating to watch.

“Are you listening to me? Pick up your phone right now and delete that post, or I’ll call my lawyer immediately, and we’ll see each other in court.”

Hannah set her cup down, raising an eyebrow slightly. “If you’re going to sue, then go ahead. I’m actually curious to see what incompetent lawyer would even take your case. You’d be better off finding one from out of state, because I know all the local ones.”

“Do you really think I haven’t found a lawyer? Let me tell you, the Woods family may have fallen on hard times, but we still have our old connections. It doesn’t matter if my lawyer is local or from out of state; the point is, I’ve already found one. Now take the post down, do you hear me?”
