My Deceased Wife Wants a Divorce (Hannah) novel Chapter 443

Samuel, who had been sitting quietly on the side, couldn't hold it in any longer and burst out laughing.

His laugh made the Woods couple instinctively turn to stare at him.

“What are you looking at me for? You were being ridiculous, so I laughed. What’s the problem?” Samuel shot back, not mincing his words.

“You old hypocrite, you really know how to spin a tale. When it comes to guilt-tripping, you’re in a class of your own. I don’t know how you can talk like that. Anyone listening would think your family was the victim here.”

Samuel rolled his eyes and continued his tirade. “When Sandra was getting all those expensive gifts from Lionel, don’t tell me you had no idea! So what if it’s all been taken back? You still have a house you can mortgage, don’t you? All the fine food and clothes you enjoyed must have cost a fortune. Just sell the house and pay back the money. Do it now before I get inspired and start itemizing everything. You two might just end up living under a bridge.”

“He has a point,” Hannah added. “I remember Lionel gave Sandra plenty of lavish gifts and expensive delicacies. She must have shared them with you. That all has to add up to tens, if not hundreds, of thousands of dollars, right?”

Seeing them about to speak, Hannah cut them off sharply. “Don’t you dare stand there and call me petty. Did you think about whose money you were enjoying when you were stuffing your faces?”

Glaring at the two of them, Hannah rolled her eyes again and said, “Send them out. Remember their faces, and if they ever show up here again, throw them out immediately. They are not allowed in my house.”

At her words, two burly security guards appeared and walked toward the couple. “Please leave on your own accord. Otherwise, we’ll be forced to escort you out.”

Faced with the two imposing men, Mr. and Mrs. Woods swallowed hard.

They knew that if they didn’t leave now, that crazy woman Hannah might actually have them thrown out.

The couple scurried away from the Rosenberg estate in disgrace. Once outside, David turned and spat vehemently toward the gate.
