Rebekah had no desire to waste another breath on these two. She was about to step into the elevator with the manager when Benjamin's face darkened. In the split second before the doors closed, he strode forward and yanked her out.
"Rebekah, I'm not dead yet! You are going home with me today!"
The thought of her going upstairs to meet another man right in front of him sent a surge of rage through him. He wanted to storm up there himself and kill the man with his bare hands.
Rebekah struggled, trying to wrench her arm from his grasp, but she was no match for his strength. He dragged her toward the exit, her heels stumbling on the polished floor. She nearly fell several times.
"Benjamin, let go of me!"
"You will leave this place now, before I really lose my temper!" he growled. He would not be made a fool of.
Suddenly, three men walked in through the main entrance. When they saw Benjamin dragging Rebekah, their faces instantly turned to ice.
"Mr. Forrester, what do you think you're doing?"
The three men blocked Benjamin's path. He looked up and found himself face-to-face with Blaze Powell, the current head of the Powell family. Standing beside Blaze were two other men he didn't recognize, but he could guess their identities. The Powell family had four sons. The man on the left, dressed in an impeccable suit, had to be the second son, Caleb Powell. The one on the right, with silver-gray hair and a leather jacket, must be the fourth son, Xavier Powell. The third son had never made a public appearance, leading to rumors that he was ill and had been kept hidden away at home.
Benjamin quickly pushed Rebekah behind him, desperate to keep her from ruining his conversation with the Powells. "President Powell," he said, forcing a polite smile. "This is just a small personal matter." He turned and shot a venomous glare at Rebekah. "Get out now, and don't make me use force!"
"Ah!"
Before Benjamin could even react, a figure moved faster, wrapping a strong arm around Rebekah's waist and pulling her upright.
"Are you alright?" a worried voice asked from above.
Rebekah, who had fallen against the man's chest, quickly straightened up.
She looked up and met the most stunning pair of eyes she had ever seen.
