Meanwhile, Aiden had driven his car straight into the mansion and hopped out, his head pounding so hard he could barely hear anything at the moment.
The video of blood all over Amelia’s body kept replaying in his head.
She was dead. She was gone…
He didn’t kill her. He didn’t ask anyone to kill her.
Who would have done something so cruel to his Luna inside the pack?
He didn’t have enemies in the pack, and it would be difficult for enemies outside the border to enter without being seen by the border patrol.
He still couldn’t believe what he had seen. There was no way it was real.
Amelia can’t be dead… She’s carrying his baby.
How? He kept questioning himself.
He could feel his wolf growling from deep within, threatening to take over and find whoever the killer was – head off.

and rip their
But he had to stay in control.
He was the Alpha of the pack. He needed to keep his head up and control his emotions.
The moment he walked inside the house, he suddenly felt a hand touch him, snapping him back to reality. He turned – and saw Sofia glaring at him with a smile on her face.
His eyes flashed red.
Without a word, he gripped her by the neck and threw her to the corner of the room, then stormed upstairs and locked himself in his room.
James, who had followed behind, had a satisfied look on his face when he saw how Aiden had thrown her.
He walked toward her and watched as she groaned in pain, tears spilling down her cheeks. He rolled his eyes and crouched to help her up.
“Are you okay?” he asked plainly.
Sofia raised her head and glared at him.
“Do I look okay? I was just thrown across the room by the Alpha! How could you let him do that to me? I could’ve died!” she yelled in pain.
James glared at her silently.
What did she expect him to do? Fight the Alpha?
“What happened to him? Why is he like that?” she asked as she dusted herself off and sat in a chair.
“He lost his wife… and her unborn baby,”
“Wait! What?” Sofia’s eyes widened in surprise.
“Oh my God… poor Amelia. She didn’t deserve that. Jeez. She killed her child and now she’s dead. Karma hit her so fast. May her soul, and that of her children, rest in peace…” she muttered.
James gave her a strange look.
“Aiden must be in pain. He needs me now. I should go and console him,” she said quickly, standing up and trying to head upstairs.
James grabbed her hand and pulled her back.
“What?” she snapped.
He turned to the guard at the door.
She glared at the food she had prepared for Aiden and rolled her eyes.
It was all wasted. She had actually started cooking when she got the video from Dante covered in blood begging for her life. the one that showed Amelia
She almost felt pity for her. Almost. But then she remembered: Amelia once took Aiden from her. She was only doing what was right.
She picked up a bottle of wine from the table and walked out of the house. As she entered her car, a smile crept across her face.
She was finally going to be the Luna of Red Moon Pack.
Her dream had finally come true. The former Luna was dead and out of the picture.
She had never felt so happy or satisfied.
She frowned as she thought of James.
She would deal with him when she became Luna. He better watch his back.
She hissed.
Just then, her phone rang. It was a call from Dante.
She answered.
“Good job, Dante… You deserve a good reward. Not just money. Why don’t we meet at my apartment tonight? Just me and you. Let me show you how appreciative I am to you and your friends, for carrying out a clean job for me. 10 p.m. tonight.”
She ended the call and bit her lip seductively, a smile breaking across her lips.
Finally.
