My Luna Became An Alpha After I Rejected Her novel Chapter 46

Chapter 46

Aiden’s car pulled into the pack mansion, James’s vehicle rolling in behind.

Aiden stepped out, his jaw tight, as he glanced at James.

For a second, he considered asking why he was following him, but then let it go. James was his Beta. Loyalty demanded he be at his side wherever he went.

Without another word, Aiden stormed into the mansion.

Inside, Sofia sat on the couch, phone pressed to her ear. The moment she saw him, she ended the call and stood, heels clicking against the tiled floor as she approached him.

Her eyes widened. “Your arm, Aiden, it’s bleeding.”

He glanced at the gash, blood still oozing when it should’ve already healed. His expression hardened. “It’s none of your concern, Sofia.”

He turned toward the stairs, but her sharp voice halted him.

“I heard what happened at the hospital… You fought Amelia’s husband in front of the entire hospital. Tell me, Aiden, how desperate are you to get her back?”

His head snapped toward her, fury flashing. “Are you spying on me now?”

Sofia folded her arms across her chest, chin lifted. “Spying? Don’t flatter yourself. I’m the Luna of this pack. News finds its way to me faster than you think.”

Aiden said nothing, so she pressed on.

“You’ve never once gone to the hospital since the disease broke out. You’ve avoided it because you were afraid of infection. But suddenly today, you show up in a tailored suit, parading yourself around just because she is there?”

Aiden’s eyes narrowed. “Don’t forget who I am, Sofia. I’m Alpha of this pack. Whether you like it or not, my duty is to Red Moon. It’s tradition to welcome a new doctor into the field. That’s my responsibility.”

“Really?” she spat. “Your responsibility? Or is it that you knew Amelia was Cassia Wrenmoor all along? Tell me the truth, Aiden!”

He exhaled sharply, weary of her voice, and turned to leave.

“You can’t walk out on me. I am your wife! Your Luna!” she shouted after him.

He froze mid-step. Slowly, he turned back, his voice low and cutting. “You are not my Luna.”

The words struck her like a blade. Her lips parted in shock, her heart splitting in two. Even James, standing at the side, stiffened at Aiden’s declaration.

“That’s not true,” Sofia said quickly, dropping the fake tears. “Spending money is part of a Luna’s life. Shopping is part of my duty.”

James scoffed, his lips curling. “Then keep that handkerchief. You’ll need it soon when you’re crying real tears, not these fake ones.”

With that, he walked away, leaving her seething.

She clenched the cloth in her fist before tossing it to the floor. “Stupid man,” she muttered.

Did he expect her to crawl into orphanages and let filthy children touch her? Or donate her money like some saint? She sneered at the thought. That wasn’t who she was. She wasn’t Amelia. She was Sofia Devereux, born to live rich, admired, and untouchable.

She picked up her phone, her jaw tight. Her fingers flew across the screen as she typed a message to Dante.

It’s time we make a plan. Amelia needs to disappear for good.

Aiden had fought for Amelia today. Tomorrow, he might leave her for Amelia especially if he finds out the truth. She would never allow that to happen. If it meant killing Amelia again, or killing her son. Then so be it.

She would make Amelia regret ever coming back to Red Moon Pack.
