My Reborn Admirer Wins Over My Heart novel Chapter 79

**He Returned to Break and Own Me and for His Queen**

“A few years back, when he graced our home in Seabar, you and Mother insisted I retreat to my room, warning me to steer clear of someone like him. And now… you’re attempting to hand me over to him yourself!”

Oriana’s voice trembled with a mix of disbelief and anger. The memories of that day lingered in her mind like a haunting echo. Back then, she had been too young to grasp the full weight of the situation, her memories of his face a blurred impression. But the name Felix had been etched into her consciousness, a permanent reminder of the warning she had received. Even Lily, her closest confidante, had given her subtle hints to keep her distance from him. And Bramwell? He had reduced her to a mere bargaining chip, a transaction to sweeten a business arrangement, wrapping her up like a gift for someone else. The audacity of claiming it was for her benefit was nothing short of absurd!

Bramwell’s face flushed crimson, his rage boiling just beneath the surface, so intense that he nearly bit down on his own tongue in frustration. “What absolute nonsense are you spewing! It seems you refuse a toast only to be forced to drink a forfeit! Close your mouth!” he barked, his voice echoing off the walls.

“Well, well, Bramwell! You and your wife have profited handsomely off my efforts, and this is how you speak of me when I’m not around?” Felix’s voice was equally charged, his initial embarrassment morphing into a furious indignation. “Fine! You think you’re so elevated now that your daughter is under Cormac’s wing, looking down on a mere dentist? Fine! Don’t come crawling back to me later when you realize your mistake!”

“Mr. Gallagher, please let me explain! Mr. Gallagher!” Bramwell called out, his voice rising in desperation as he chased after him into the hallway. But Felix stormed away, leaving a trail of astonished guests and servers in his wake.

Feeling humiliated like never before, Bramwell returned to the private room, his expression thunderous. “Ungrateful wretch! After I went through all this trouble to arrange this for you, you dare to ruin my business deal?!” His eyes bulged with fury as he glared at Oriana, the root of all his misfortune, stepping forward with his hand raised high, ready to unleash his wrath.

Luna, who had been cowering behind a dining chair, instinctively touched the bandage on her face, her eyes glinting with a cold intensity. She knew that with the force of Bramwell’s rage behind it, that slap would surely mar Oriana’s beauty far worse than her own injury!

Yet, the scene Luna had anticipated did not unfold.

For the past twenty years, Oriana had always stood still and endured the storm. But this time, something shifted within her. She lifted her chin defiantly and took two deliberate steps backward, refusing to be a passive victim any longer.

Bramwell, fueled by alcohol and fury, swung at nothing but empty air, nearly losing his balance as he stumbled forward. He caught himself on the back of a chair, his face twisting with disbelief and rage. “You dared to dodge?!” he spat, as if her evasion was an unimaginable affront.

A mocking smile flickered across Oriana’s lips, her confidence igniting a spark within her. “Mr. Sterling,” she said, her voice icy and unwavering, “you no longer possess the qualification or the right to lecture or discipline me.”
