Chapter 145 Unpleasant Interruption

Damon made it clear that he wanted us all in front of the stage, when introducing Giselle to our guests.

He expects that many Alphas and Lunas will object to the announcement, but on a screen behind us, it will show Giselle’s Human mark. It should remove any doubts, but none of us will be holding our breath.

Roan and Gillean walk of the stage to stand beside me and I can feel many guests looking at all of us. Mateja and Amir have positioned themselves at the bottom of the steps to the stage, keeping anyone from trying to get up there during the Ceremony.

“Alphas, Lunas and other Pack–members, it is my honor as King, but most of all as a Father to introduce to you your future Queen…” Might roars interrupt Damon and we see a handful of Lunas looking up at the

stage.

“She isn’t of age, she can’t be the future Queen.” One of the Lunas calls out and a close up of Giselle’s neck is shown on the screen.

It is the mark of the future Queen, a crown that dangles from a crescent moon with Casimir’s name under it and Vlad’s name above it, both names written in gold.

“I will not accept it, my Daughter is better suited to be the Queen.” Another Luna calls out and a young female next to her nods her head.

“Giselle is my Mate and your future Queen. I don’t care whether you accept it or not, Giselle will be by my side for the rest of our lives and I suggest that you deal with it.” Casimir growls softly, sounding more deadly than I have ever heard him speak.

Two Alphas run towards us, the moment Giselle and Casimir shift. One of them tries to reach the steps, but Mateja is there to block his way and Amir has him on the ground in seconds. The other Alpha stares at us for a split second, but seems to wise up when he realizes that he can’t get anywhere near Giselle and

Casimir.

I can feel the air charge with something, but I don’t really understand what is going on and I turn my head to look at Casimir.

Their Lycans have bitten down on the marking spot, and both seem to be glowing, giving this a very unreal view. I am looking at the two Lycans as the glow slowly disappears and I swear to the Goddess that Vlad’s fur has changed color.

Standing together on that stage, they look like ying and yang. Giselle’s fur is snow white and Vlad’s fur has changed to midnight black, it looks amazing.

They walk into the changing room and after putting their clothes on, they walk back onto the stage.

“Alphas, Lunas and all other Pack–members. Prince Caismir and Princess Giselle.” Damon says as he steps back, but the room stays deadly quiet.

We turn as one towards our guests and most of them are too stunned to react, while others look furic can see several Alphas and Lunas whispering to one another, probably discussing the unpleasant surp seeing the Crown Prince mark his fated Mate.

“Prince Casimir and Princess Giselle, congratulations. Blue River Pack will welcome you with open arms, whenever you decide to honor us with a visit.” Alpha Tate says, while he and all his Pack–members get down on one knee with their heads bowed.

The proper way of showing your respect to the future King and Queen of the Kingdom, a few Alphas follow his lead and while the rest of the guests refuse to show their respect, we get a mind–link.

“Make a list of all the Packs that were disrespectful, I want them under supervision. We will meet about this in the morning.” Damon says through the mind–link and I look at the Alphas that did show respect.

A much shorter list and easier to remember, I know what under supervision means and I know that a few units will volunteer for the unexpected visits.

“Please enjoy yourselves, I will warn you when it is close to midnight.” Damon finally says and if his facial expression is an indication, this will become one of the heaviest supervisions ever.

None of us wanders far from the stage, we all want to keep an eye on Casimir and Giselle. Alpha Tate is talking to King Damon, when an unfamiliar male walks towards them and two of the Delta couples step in front of him.

“Alpha Tate, tell these Idiots to move.” The male growls and I feel Morgan stiffen next to me.

Before anyone can react, Ashton and Colton have knocked him down to the ground and Declan places his foot on the guy’s throat.
