I want her to be able to link us if that is necessary and right now she has no access to the Pack mind–link.” Mack says but he doesn’t take his eyes of me and when Dominic tells him I have to get out of his lap Commander releases a roar, not a loud one but enough to make everyone understand that he isn’t pleased with his remark.

Mack allows me to stand up but that is about it, his hands are on my hips as he guides me towards Dominic and I realize all three Alphas need to be part of the initiation. The small ceremony doesn’t faze me but I am glad when it is done with, Dad is the first one to link me and I look over my shoulder to smile at him.

“This is a lot easier. No more walking up the stairs to get you.” Dad says teasingly, but I see his smile fall when something sinks in.

I will not be living with him for much longer, I will move into the Pack–house to live with Mack and then it will just be my Dad in our house. Suddenly Dad gets a smile on his face and I wonder what he is thinking about, but Dominic asks me to explain why I chose to become the Angel of Death.
