Delaney’s p.o.v.

I have been planning my Luna Ceremony ever since the Spring Ball and I have been able to talk to a lot of Pack–members about their favorite Party. I didn’t tell them why I wanted to know the answer, but it didn’t matter much to them, they loved telling me what they like or dislike about parties.

No seven course meal, no fancy snacks, no cocktails with names that can get your tongue in a twist. Our Pack–members are not interested in the fancy parties that some Lunas have for their Ceremony, like me they believe it is a waste of money.

There will be no color scheme for my Luna Ceremony, I want this to be a party for our Pack and it was clear that none of them really care about à color scheme.

I have decided on a barbeque, lots of tables scattered around the backyard and no stage for the Alpha table. This is going to be a simple Ceremony, I just hope that the other part of my plan is coming along.

None of our former leadership has come to me yet with a list and I really need to get working on that list, if I want it all to be finished in time. Dillon had suggested to have my Luna Ceremony on a Full Moon and the next one is in three weeks.

It can be arranged before then and I hope that Maleah has the answer to avoiding all those Alphas and Lunas.

We talk about the nursery during breakfast and I smile when Levi tells us about their order.

I see the smile on Dax’s face and pinch his thigh under the table. “Don’t you dare. I want to see their reaction, if one of the Pups turns out to be a girl.” I tell him through our mind–link and his smile becomes even bigger.

We all head to the Alpha office and it doesn’t really surprise me to see our former leadership there as well.

Diego hands me a list, before he sits down in an armchair and I see that every item on the list is checked off. “We decided to help a little more than was requested. Each gift is already purchased and wrapped with a name tag on it.” He says.

I look through the list with my Mates and I smile as I see some remarks with some of the gifts. Apparently, some Pack–members felt necessary to explain why they chose a certain item and that makes it even more fun to gift it to them.

Maleah hands me her laptop and I read one of the documents that she received out loud.

During the Spring Ball, some of you met our Mate and Luna.

We are going to need some time to find the right theme and color scheme for her Luna Ceremony.

We want this Luna ceremony to be the best we can give to our Mate.

Everyone is staring at Maleah, because this is not telling anyone anything and then Dax starts to laugh.

“Maleah, this is perfect. The best way to say something, without actually saying something.” Dax says and I

Blood Crescent Pack is happy to announce that on the Full Moon, Delaney Bushlight had her Luna Ceremony.

The Ceremony was held in the privacy of our borders and with the attendance of two Elders.

Luna Delaney made the decision with our Alphas to keep this Ceremony a Pack matter.

There is not much to say, this is what I want and my Mates will give it to me. They don’t care much about the extravagant parties some Alphas or Lunas throw for their Ceremony and we have agreed on each point of my Luna Ceremony.

“Well, that is settled. On the next Full Moon we will have a Luna Ceremony.” I say. “Maleah, can you make sure these get released at the appropriate time?” I ask, before I hand her back her laptop.

She starts typing on her laptop and with a grand gesture she presses the enter button, sending the message to her PR manager.

One less thing to worry about, one more thing to cross of my To Do list and now we can concentrate on the party and Ceremony.
