Chapter 313 Night Night

Alayah’s p.o.v.

I wake up panting and as I try to calm down my breathing I realize I am not in my own bed. Yes, I am aware of the fact that I went to visit my Mom, but this is not the bed nor the roam I went to sleep in last night.

It takes me a few moments to figure out I am sleeping in Nero’s bed and why the hell am I out of breath, I slowly close my eyes again to see if I can remember my dream. Unfortunately I am unable to remember my dream and frustrated I get out of bed.

I know that Nero’s room is the furthest away from my room, but it is also the closest one to my Mom’s room. How the hell am I supposed to get back to my room without Mom or Xavier seeing me?

I know the rooms are soundproof but I still place my car against the door and I nearly jump out of my skin when I hear two different types of snoring, I concentrate again to find out I heard it correctly. I slowly open the door as I keep listening for a change in the snores, but I am able to make it safely back to my room.

After taking a shower I still can’t remember my dream and with a frustrated groan I give up, getting ready for the day. A soft knock on the door tells me that Mom is on the other side and I get up to open the door for her, “Goodmorning, Baby Girl. Breakfast is almost ready, I hope you’re hungry because Xavier has cooked breakfast as if the boys are gonna join us.” Mom says teasingly.

“I heard that.” Xavier yells from the kitchen and Mom just rolls her eyes.

Mom wasn’t kidding when she said Xavier had made more than enough for seven people, but it seems he prepared all of my favorites this morning and by the time I am done I have tasted at least something from every dish.

Xavier and Mom are staring at me and when I tell them I wasn’t joking last night Xavier starts laughing, “Oh, my. I think everyone thought you were joking, Baby Girl.” Mom says as she starts clearing the table.

“Did you bring something to train in?” Xavier asks and I tell him to give me five minutes, I hadn’t expected to train with Autumn Pack but I will grab the opportunity with both hands.

Mom and Isla follow us to the training grounds and Isla’s Mate is my first victim with that Asshole attitude of his. Xavier pairs everyone as Isla and Mom side down at the sidelines, “Okay, today you fight until your opponent submits or is knocked out.” Xavier yells.

A lot of Pack–members have gathered around the training grounds and by the look on Isla’s face I would say she is responsible for the number of spectators we have. The moment Xavier says Go my opponent lunges at me and I side step with ease, if he keeps this up he will be dead on his feet before I have warmed up. He lunges for me again and as before I easily side step, turning on my heel to literally kick his ass, earning me a smile from Isla and Mom.

I know that no one in their right mind would attack a large Pack, but then again Rogues aren’t known for their brains. Alpha Randell is going to be so disappointed in their skills and we all thought Crystal had been joking when she told us that their training wasn’t as tough as our training.

We have only been at it for ten minutes and half of the fights are already over, most of them due to submission and only a handful due to a knock out.

My opponent is already out of breath and if he doesn’t tap out fast he will die of a heart attack. Okay, fine. He won’t literally die of a heart attack, but you know what I mean. Neither one of us has landed a blow yet, I
