I guide Nathan and Nero onto the balcony, I want to hear their thoughts on what we just found out and why this territory is so much bigger than I had expected. We look around the balcony to find out it is very big and not one single room or balcony that can look onto our balcony, meaning that no one can jump down from another balcony or window to our balcony. We sits down in lounge chairs next to one another, each of us facing the room.

“We need to ask for a tour of the Pack–house and the territory before we can ask Alayah to make a decision, she needs to have all the information she can get before she can make a decision that will change all of our lives. If she decides to take over as the Alpha we need to make sure that at least two of us are with her at all times, I will not allow her to be left behind without anyone of us around. Once word gets out there that the rightful Alpha is back all hell might break lose.

It also means that we need to find a Gamma and a Beta for Alayah, we can’t take the Gamma position as her Mates and I don’t see one of us doing the job of a Beta.” I say as I keep staring at the room, a room I will spend the night with my Brothers and our Mate and right now she is fast asleep in the bed we will be sharing. “Even if our Princess decides she doesn’t want to become the Alpha I will not become Marc’s Gamma, he can find another Idiot to take that position.” Nero growls.

I get up the moment I feel Alayah getting restless and the three of us walk back into the bedroom, crawling on the bed with her and Nikolay. She calms down the moment we all lay down on the bed and I quickly set an alarm for two hours from now, because I don’t want us to sleep the day away. “Noah, turn that alarm off.” I hear someone say near my head and I slowly open my eyes as I reach for my phone, I look into Alayah’s emerald, green eyes with a smile on my face when my alarm stops sounding.

“I think it is safe to say that it is almost lunch time.” I say before I cup her face to kiss her and she moves towards me to deepen the kiss, “Stop that and get out of bed. The entire family is about to break down the door and I actually like this door.” Nathan says and I hear Alayah giggle as she moves even closer to me. “Why do you like that door, Nathan?” She asks as she snuggles into my side. “Because the carving on the door reminds me of Topaz.” He answers her.

This makes her jump of the bed and run towards the door to open it quickly, she stares at the carvings on the door as Nero steps behind her. “He is right, that carving looks a lot like Topaz.” Nero states as he looks at the door and in seconds we all are standing in front of the door. Whoever carved this into the door is amazingly good at his or her job and Nathan was right, the Lycan looks like a dead ringer for Topaz.

We freshen up a little before we head for the living room to find Grandpa, like he promised he is waiting for us in the living room and Mara is sitting next to him with Dad. “Your Daughter looks so much like my Mother, I will show you the painting of her in the main living room. If we are having lunch there that is. Do you feel up to that, Alayah?” Grandpa asks and she snuggles closer to my side as if she is trying to hide, but through the bond I can’t feel any anxiety.

I nod my head at Grandpa before Alayah can change her mind, she needs to get to know the Pack–members that live here and the sooner we know if they will accept our bond the better it will be for all of us. Grandpa gets of the couch to leads us down to the main dining room, the rest of the family right behind us and every person we pass bows their head slightly towards us. Something Alayah isn’t really comfortable with and to tell you the truth neither do I.

The moment we step into the dining room it goes deadly quiet and I can feel every person in the room looking at us, “Okay, if you want to scare away our Alpha I suggest you keep staring.” Grandpa growls as he walks towards a table at the back of the dining room, Alayah follows him as she squeezes me tight and I hear Eiji growling softly in my head. “What is wrong, Eiji?” Alayah asks as she turns towards me. “Why did you growl?” She asks next.
