I smile the moment my eyes land on Ma, she is standing next to Alpha Drew and like him she is oblivious to the fact that I am driving the SUV. Callen has already pulled to a stop in front of the Pack–house and Captain Armand and Callen exit the SUV as I pull to a stop behind them.

The moment Conri opens the door to get out of the SUVI see a look of fear in Ma’s eyes and I want to ask her what is wrong, but I don’t get the change as Dad shoves Conri out of the way. He walks up to Ma and when I hear him growl “Mine” my jaw drops.

Alpha Drew gives him directions to our house and before anyone can say something he rushes off with Ma in his arms. When I finally come to my senses a smile appears on my face and I send a thank you to our Goddess for pairing Ma with Dad.

“Looks like you have something to tell me, Orion.” I hear Alpha Drew say and I see him staring at Asilda. “Yes, Alpha Drew. This is Asilda, my Mate.” I say before I start introducing everyone else, but I save the best one for last. “Alpha Drew, this is Umayza.” I say and as he is shaking her hand I finish my sentence, “My twin Sister

He looks from Umayza to me and back to Umayza again, “I’ll be damned. You almost look similar.” He mumbles. “I know my Luna will be sorry she couldn’t be here, but she is in the infirmary.” He states and I ask him if it happened again, the look on his face tells me all I need to know.

“Alpha Drew, I am sorry for your loss.” Umayza says and Alpha Drew stares at her. “Sorry, I forget not everyone will understand this. Yade and Jasper have a very unique bond and he explained it to me.” Umayza says and I tell Alpha Drew there are a few things we need to explain about Umayza and the bond between our Wolves.

“Oh, does anyone want to hear the kicker?” I ask and everyone turns their head to me. I look at Umayza as I say, “The female in his arms is Ma.” Her eyes widen and she jumps into my arms, wrapping her arms around me as she places kisses on my forehead.

“Are you going to explain this to Alpha Drew?” I ask Umayza as she finally stops hugging me, she turns to Alpha Drew and says, “That male is our Dad.” Everyone in hearing range is cheering and howling as they all realize that our family is connected in every way it can.

“Alpha Drew, can I ask something.” Umayza asks him as she steps into the arms of her Mates, he nods his head for her to continue. “I know you buried our Mother and that there is no name on her headstone. Is it possible to replace it with a new headstone?” She asks and Grant steps forward to answer her.

“Umayza, I will see to it that a new headstone will be placed on her grave, just let me know what you want on it.” He says and Umayza thanks him for the offer. Alpha Drew invites us into the Pack–house and asks Grant to make sure our bags are brought up to the Beta floor.

Asilda looks up at the Pack–house and seems to look at every detail she can see, I know she always dreamed of a career as an architect. She even started her studies online until her Mother nearly forced her to take the job working for the Council.

I stared after Dad as he made his way over to a petite female standing beside Alpha Drew and Yade is howling in my head of joy, Dad found his second chance Mate, Something he thought would never happen, but apparently it hadn’t been the right time.

I giggle as Alpha Drew gives him directions to her house and I know we won’t be seeing them any time soon. Alpha Drew welcomes Asilda to Silver Lotus Pack and looks very dumbfounded when Orion tells him that I am his twin Sister.

When Jasper popped in my head to tell me about Luna Jess my heart broke for them, they had been trying for years to have a Pup and every single time it ended in a miscarriage. No one could tell them why, but they still hadn’t given up hope on one day having a Pup of their own.

I informed the others through the mind–link and I could feel the sadness my Mates felt for them, just like they had when I talked to Jasper. Alpha Drew had looked surprised when he found out that Orion and 1 have a very unusual bond, which includes a unique bond between our Wolves.

We follow Alpha Drew into the Pack–house and I see two females scurry out of the living room, both of them avoiding eye contact with Alpha Drew. The look on his face tells me that he isn’t too pleased with the two females being in the Pack–house and their behavior tells me that they are very aware of that.

I sit down on the couch between Conri and Evander, but instead of seeing my Brother sit down I see one of the females that just left the living room, “I need him to reject her, but with that Pup on the way he will never leave her. I have to make sure that I become the Luna before she can give him an heir.” My host says.

The female in front of me says that I shouldn’t worry, that Drew will soon be mine. I can tell by their clothing that I switched to another day, “It has been four years and even after losing four Pups neither of them is giving up, how much longer do I need to wait.” My host whines and her friend tells her to be patient.

“It takes time before a fated Mate will give up on the Mate–bond, but in the end he will and you will be there to pick up the pieces.” Her friend says. I am witnessing another day as the same thing repeats itself, but by now they have lost seven Pups and I still don’t know how they did it.

Again another day as my host is waiting for her friend to sit down, “Did you finally get it?” my host asks and her friend nods her head. “They kept it really well hidden this time; we need to give her the Castor Bean before her due date.” My host says and her friend tells her that Grant will make sure he has a hidden stash in his work place.

“He better makes sure no one can find it.” My host mumbles and her friend tells her that it is hidden under his work bench against the wall, “The only way to get that box of its place is by sliding it to the right and pulling it straight down, no one will figure that out.” Her friend says.

“What is Grant getting out of this?” My host asks and her friend says that he knows someone that wants to buy the Luna for an underground club, “Luna Calliope knows of a few males that would pay handsomely to have their way with her.” Her friend says.

Her face slowly fades and I know I have all the information I need. I don’t relive the memory again and that tells me I got every piece of the puzzle I need. I slowly open my eyes and look into Conri’s smiling face, “Hello, Little One. You just scared an Alpha half to death.” He says teasingly.

“Orion, is Grant still in the Pack–house?” I ask him and he tells me that Grant left about ten minutes ago. “Does he know what I was going through?” I ask him and Orion tells me they didn’t even explain it to Alpha Drew. “Alpha Drew, I am sorry for scaring you. Do you know when Luna Jess will be out of the infirmary?” I ask.

“I just got released.” A voice in the doorway sounds and I ask if we can take this to his office. “Just the people that are here and no one else.” I say and Armand realizes that I discovered something major. After we have all taken a seat I ask Alpha Drew what he knows about Night Shade Pack.
