Taking two steps back, she said, "On paper, I'm your wife. But in reality, between you, me, and the beloved Miss James, I'm the true outsider. The unloved one."

"You don't need to keep reminding me that you have a family, a woman you love, and a child on the outside," Claudia said. "I know my place!"
