From Rock Sayer's tone and expression, Claudia knew it had to be York on the line.

She reached for the phone, but Rock Sayer had already hung up.

Claudia rubbed her temples, a headache forming. She knew this young master disliked York, but she still had to reprimand him.

"Master Sayer, not answering other people's phones or looking at their messages is a matter of basic respect," she said sternly.

Rock Sayer threw his hands up in a gesture of innocence. "It's a habit. You should have warned me sooner."

Claudia was speechless.

Fine. At worst, she'd have another fight with York when she got home.

Right now, her client was more important.

Her gaze fell on the bedding. "Do you have any other sets of sheets?"

Rock Sayer pointed to a closet.

After rummaging through it, Claudia found a suitable set and tossed it onto the bed. "Change the sheets, get rid of that aromatherapy diffuser, and replace that high-tech headboard."

Rock Sayer picked up a pillow and perched on the nightstand. "I don't know how to do any of that stuff."

Claudia stared at him for a long moment, then sighed and began changing the sheets and duvet cover herself.

Rock Sayer, meanwhile, busied himself taking selfies.

At that same moment, downstairs in the lobby, York got out of his car, his face a thundercloud. "Are you certain they're on the eleventh floor?"

Mark nodded. "Mr. Ferguson, our investigation confirms that Master Sayer did indeed purchase the eleventh-floor unit in your building a few days ago. The sports car in the spot next to Mr. Peter's also belongs to him."

"You can go home," York said, already striding towards the elevator.

The elevator doors were just closing when Peter slipped inside.

They glanced at each other, and Peter quickly looked away. York's expression was grim, and he didn't speak either.
