Under the shocked and bewildered gazes of everyone present, York took the divorce lawyer's letter from his father and handed it to Mark.
Mark spoke up. "My apologies. The assistant delivered this by mistake. This document is for me."
Ignoring Sewell's scolding, Mark clutched his boss's divorce papers and hurried out of the conference room.
Everyone could draw their own conclusions about what had just happened.
After the board meeting, in the executive CEO's office.
Sewell's face was ashen with rage. "Indecisiveness only leads to chaos! Who gave her the audacity to have divorce papers delivered to you during a board meeting?"
He pointed a finger at York, fuming. "York, I'm telling you, divorce her immediately! Make her leave the Ferguson family with nothing!"
York's expression remained unchanged. "Dad, this is my marriage. I'll decide whether we get divorced or not."
Veins bulged on Sewell's forehead. "This is not up to you!"
"Find me that lawyer," Sewell roared. "I want to see who's so bold as to take on a Ferguson family divorce case!"
With a final shout, he slammed the door and left.

That evening, as Claudia was leaving a supermarket, York forcibly pulled her into his car.
The driver and Mark got out, moving several meters away.
In the back seat of the luxury car, the two of them sat face to face.
Claudia could feel the anger radiating from York.
If she guessed correctly, he must have received the divorce papers.
York was visibly restraining himself.
