Reborn Omega Avenge Herself Like an Alpha
Chapter 394 You’ve Done So Well
Third Person POV
Aubrey lowered her head and said to Adelyn with deep guilt.
“I’m sorry… I… I messed things up…”
Finished
If she had been just a little more careful, today’s events wouldn’t have happened. She had been too conceited, thinking she could get away completely, and had forgotten to consider unexpected situations.
“What silly things are you saying?” Adelyn shook her head, sighing as she held her hand. “If you hadn’t taken care of those Southern bastards who infiltrated the pack, who knows what terrible things they would have done to achieve their goals?”
She was right. If Killa hadn’t been determined to capture Aubrey alive from the start, his men might have chosen to stage a terrorist attack in Shadowmoon Pack, or captured Adelyn and Sean as hostages at all costs to threaten Alpha Henry. Henry would have been in an extremely passive position.
But…
Aubrey blinked. “But those hundred–plus werewolves were infected because of my negligence. I know how serious this is… If I had been more careful…” Aubrey closed her eyes, suddenly feeling deep regret.
When Adelyn saw her thinking this way, she wanted to both laugh and cry. “Aubrey, if we’re going by that, I should blame Henry first. If it weren’t for him, you wouldn’t have been infected, and today’s events wouldn’t have happened.”
Aubrey opened her mouth, but Adelyn cut her off.
“This is something no one wanted to see. What we need to do now is solve it. Aubrey, your intentions were always good. You’ve already done so much. You really don’t need to be so hard on yourself.”
After Adelyn finished, Sean also nodded. “You’ve already done so well.”
Jax rubbed his nose, his face full of guilt. “I’m also at fault in this matter. I’ll kick Aurelia out as soon as I get home. Aubrey, don’t be angry with Dad, okay?” He believed Aubrey had left home because he had taken Aurelia in. If Aubrey had been at the Miguel family all along, perhaps this wouldn’t have happened…
Aubrey was surprised that none of them blamed her. Needless to say, the Miguel family was facing a huge crisis. Just look at Jax–his clothes still had egg whites on them. Clearly, those

I brought so much trouble, so why doesn’t anyone blame me?
Adelyn couldn’t help but chide her. “If you don’t rest well, how will you have the energy to deal with the serum’s side effects?”
With that, she pushed Aubrey toward the bathroom. “Go on, the hot water is ready!”
Why has the cruel, harsh world I knew suddenly become so tolerant and gentle?
I’m used to being alone, to being schemed against and excluded. But now… it’s like I’ve fallen from a cold, grayscale space into a place full of color, vivid and bright, just like these colorful bubbles in the bathroom, this warm steam…
Aubrey was tense all over. This warmth made her feel so out of place, as if she didn’t belong.
After washing, Aubrey had intended to go to the lab, but she was stuffed into the soft covers by Adelyn.
“You’ve been exhausted for a day and a night. Rest well. Don’t worry, Henry is still out there.”
Although she felt incredibly guilty lying here while everyone else was busy, when she heard that Alpha Henry was still out there, Aubrey inexplicably felt at ease. So, is this what it feels like to be protected?
Or perhaps, is this what it feels like to be trusted?
She had always fought alone. This was the first time she had so confidently entrusted all the storms to another person, without fearing his betrayal or abandonment. This feeling… it’s actually so wonderful.
With these questions in her mind, Aubrey had thought she wouldn’t be able to sleep, but in fact, she fell asleep quickly.
