Third-Person POV
“I don’t!”
Aubrey protested in his arms. Alpha Henry said no more, just held her tighter, as if trying to knead her into his own flesh and blood.
At the door of the hospital room, Alpha Mateo and Charles, who had returned with their purchases, saw this scene, and their expressions couldn’t help but turn ugly.
Aubrey hadn’t lost her memory. They had no chance….
Alpha Mateo’s face darkened. He shoved the things he was holding into Charles’s arms and turned to leave.
Charles didn’t say anything either. He stood quietly for a moment, placed the items on the floor by the door, and left.
In the parking lot, he happened to run into Alpha Mateo, who was on his way out.
“How about we take a trip to the Southern Continent together? I hear a witch over there is selling a memory–loss potion,” Alpha Mateo called out.
“Sure,” Charles replied casually, then opened his own car door and got in.
Alpha Mateo raised an eyebrow, then smiled and drove away first.
After he left, Charles’s hands, gripping the steering wheel, suddenly tightened. A memory–loss potion… If Aubrey lost her memory, would that make her fall in love with him?
He had nothing now. The Lynn family had fallen, his father was imprisoned for his crimes, and his own inaction, as well as his defense of Aubrey, had made his relatives extremely dissatisfied with him. He had no home.
He was left with only Candy and that small apartment…
Inside the hospital, a nurse finally discovered the items at the door and helped bring them in.
Alpha Henry just said he had someone buy them, and Aubrey accepted them with a smile.
For the next two days, Aubrey was never left alone. When Alpha Henry wasn’t there, he had Barry come and watch her. When Barry was too busy, he had Perry come over. When Perry came, he also brought a green- eyed Omega werewolf–although Aubrey thought she was a bit strange.
Moreover, her wolf Ella still hadn’t reappeared, which meant she couldn’t speed up her own healing. She could only stay in the hospital and wait for the wounds to heal slowly.
On the day she was discharged, Alpha Henry came to pick her up personally.
After returning home, Aubrey received an enthusiastic hug from Adelyn! As the family ate dinner together in harmony, Adelyn even exclaimed that surviving a great catastrophe meant good fortune would follow.

Chapter 40 The Yonem aga
As for the she–wolves from the Mountain Pack, Aubrey and Alpha Henry had also discussed it. They would build a sanatorium for them, settle them all there, and provide part–time work so they could support themselves. If those she–wolves wanted to go out, they wouldn’t be stopped.
And for the werewolves who died, they also sectioned off a piece of land in the Shadowmoon Pack, helped bury them, and erected tombstones. Everyone in the prison had died, including the children….
