Chapter 197 Your Son Has No Filter
Before Logan could finish, a sharp slap landed across his face.
“That’s your punishment for speaking out of turn.” Claudia flashed a wicked grin.
“What?” Logan clutched his face, completely stunned.

“Your words are getting on my nerves. And since I’m Sterling’s girlfriend, if you dare mess with
it’s only fair that I teach you a lesson.”
“Daron!” she called, “Looks like Mr. Logan doesn’t know how to talk properly. Go teach him a lesson.”
Logan hadn’t even recovered from Claudia’s twisted logic when the German shepherd at her side–so docile just a second ago–suddenly lunged at him, baring its teeth.
That vicious look on Daron made it obvious: if he caught Logan, he wouldn’t hesitate to take a chunk out of him.
Everyone watching gasped in shock.
Logan bolted in terror, yelling, “You’re insane! Do you even know who I am?”
Claudia’s expression was cold. “Of course. You’re the son of Hailey, Sterling’s aunt.”
You’re exactly the one I’m looking for.
Ignoring the chaos as Logan was chased around, Claudia turned to the guy who’d defended the girl with straight bangs earlier. “Go get Hailey.”
The guy hesitated, glancing at Logan, who was now missing a shoe.
Seriously? She picks a fight and then calls over his mom? What is she after?
Noticing his concern, Claudia smiled. “Don’t worry. Just do as I say.”
Well, if she isn’t worried about offending Hailey, why should he be?
The guy sprinted away to find Hailey.
Claudia lounged off to the side, occasionally calling out directions as Daron kept herding Logan.
Nobody else dared to move unless Claudia spoke.

Chapter 19: Your Son Has No Filter
They all became unwilling spectators to a savage game of chase.
Logan, who always prided himself on his image, was absolutely humiliated today.
He even lost his pants to the dog, revealing his bright red underwear.
People around the pond couldn’t help but snicker.
Logan fumed, but no matter how hard he tried, he couldn’t get past Daron.
Eventually, he realized Claudia and the dog were herding him straight for the pond.

He had no choice. Faced with the threat of losing actual flesh, he had to jump into the pond.
Utterly exhausted, Logan staggered to the edge, pinched his nose, shut his eyes, and leapt in.
But a pond was nothing like a swimming pool. It was full of branches and mud, and the servants hadn’t had time to clean it. Logan was left cold and miserable, covered in filth.
Even then, Claudia wasn’t finished with him.
Hailey hurried over, only to see her son trapped between Claudia and Daron in the water. Claudia kept poking at him with a bamboo stick, whacking his head every time he tried to climb out.
A bunch of the youngsters just stood off to the side, stiff as statues, watching it all unfold.
This wasn’t just a little scuffle anymore–it was a public shaming.
Her eyes bloodshot with rage and panic, Hailey ran forward, yelling, “Claudia, what are you doing?!”
Seeing Hailey arrive, the younger kids felt like their hearts were on a roller coaster all over again.
The straight–bang girl who’d defended Sterling earlier glanced at Claudia with real concern.
Claudia, on the other hand, was perfectly calm, not the least bit guilty or scared. She stood her ground and caught Hailey’s raised hand as she tried to slap her.
“Aunt Hailey, your son has no filter. As the future matriarch of the Romeros, I’m just helping you educate him. Maybe you should think twice about who’s really in the wrong here.”
Hailey actually hesitated for a moment when she heard that.
