Chapter 108
“I do not like this conversation,”
stion he said suddenly,
“Me especially considering you’re telling me I would die. What constitutes cheating for you? A kiss under the mistletoe at a party? Are you one of those people like Amal who feels strongly about emotional cheating, where you confide all the things you should to your partner into a third party? Is that cheating worth a death sentence? Does it have to be fucking? is cheating once or is it a full–blown affair.”
“Alcee, enough.” His smile was long gone now as he regarded her seriously..
“I don’t think it is enough. I want the specifics, the nitty gritty details of what constitutes a violation in your books, so I don’t end up with a wayward bullet to the brain.”
“You’re being absurd.”
“I am not. What if you’re never around? What if you knock me up a few more times and then you’re away all the time and I’m stuck home with four kids while you’re gallivanting all over the world doing your clandestine business meetings, making billions and partying like a rockstar? I might feel lonely, too lonely and the delivery driver who keeps bringing my parcels because I’m trying to get satisfaction through retail therapy. because we both know I’m not dragging four kids through a store, starts to look good to me. I flirt with him a bit, maybe answer the door in a Jrobe, skin still wet from my shower.”
“You are treading on thin ice, my love. This is not funny.”
“I’m not trying to be funny Torq. You told me flat out; you could kill me if I cheated. I need to know the parameters of this. In fact, I’d like to get this as part of our prenup.”
“What prenup? There will be no prenup.”
“Why the hell not? Aren’t you worried I’d take your billions?”
“Take it. I wouldn’t argue if you took it because it’s all yours when I die anyway. It’ll belong to you and our children.”
“Are you serious?
“Yes.”
“Can I kill you now? I’ll take the money, Antero, go live a good life and not pushi
ush out any more big–headed babies.”
“Why are you being so antagonistic tonight? Is this an emotional reaction to your father dying?”
“No.
. This is an emotional reaction to the fact you stated you would kill me and aren’t giving me parameters around such a thing occurring”
“I don’t see what the big deal is.”
“What is cheating to you, Torg?”
“You fucking around with another man.”
“What about a woman?
“Or a woman.” He gave her an annoyed glare as he now moved to sit up in the bed, “I should have fucking slept in my office.”
“Why are you angry?” she scoffed at him. “You’re the one who bluntly said you could kill your entire family with the right motives and while they would need to have done something atrocious like murdering your mother or sister, all I need to do is let a man grope me.”
Akcee, I don’t understand why you’re so bent out of shape over this. I’m not ever going to kill you. You’re not going going to cheat on you. Can we please go to sleep now?
“Go ahead,” she swung her legs off the bed and started to get up.

Chapter 109
“Somewhere safe? I don’t want to have a dream about Pedro Pascal and call his name out and wake up dead.” She turned her head slightly to meet his irritated gaze.
“Pedro Pacal? He’s the man you dream of at night?”
“He makes me want to say Daddy in a way which is wicked and naughty, so yeah.” She watched his face curl into an expression which made her snicker internally. Torquato Lozano was a jealous, possessive teenager trapped in a man’s body. Idiot. “Is it cheating if it’s in my dreams?”
“Does he give you orgasms?
“Yes please and thank you,”
“Then yes.”
“You should start shooting then. I’ve had more than one dream of him. I also rewatched all of Lucifer so Tom Ellis has been on repeat in my
dreams too.”
He gave a loud sigh, “fine, dream all you want of movie stars you have no shot with. I’ll be the one giving you the real orgasms and making it, so
are too tired to leave our bed anyway.”
“And if you can’t?”
