Three
MORGAN'S POV:
"Get out of my house." He repeated.
I stood from the floor I was sitting on, the tears breaking free. What was the meaning of all this? Divorce, now being thrown out of the house?
"Are you now throwing me out of the house?" I asked Dante my words muffled with tears.
"We are divorced." He said sending a painful jab to my heart. "How then can we live together?" He asked giving me a pouting look.
"Fine." I responded. "I will leave." I said making to move to the bedroom to pack up my things. He blocked my path.
"And where do you think you are going to?" He asked looking inquisitively at me.
"To pack up and leave." I said not looking at his face.
"I don't think that would be necessary." He said to me shaking his head.
Was he serious or was he pulling my legs?
"You want me to leave with just the clothes on my back?" I asked surprised that he could do such a thing.
"Yes." He shrugged not bothered at all.
"Dante..." I said finding it hard to believe that the man I had been with and loved for more than three years was the same man that stood in front of me, treating me like some sort of slave. "You..." I trailed off, unable to complete my sentence, tears completing it instead. He showed no expression of remorse or even sadness.
"I paid for everything. And it's all mine anyway "
"Did you even love me as you claimed that you did?" I asked him. He have no response. He just strolled to the door ushering me outside. I stood for what felt like thirty seconds, then I walked to the door.
"Show her to the gate." He said to one of the servants outside the house on night duty. As soon as I stepped out of the house, Dante banged the door behind me.
Not wanting the servants and guards in night duty to see me crying I wiped the tears off my face.
Bowing to me, Nelson showed me to the gate. And there I stood, all alone.

With no car or any means of transportation in sight, it took me thirty five minutes to head to the closest hotel around that vicinity, Palace Red
I met the receptionist on night shift in the lobby.
"I'm sorry but we are fully booked for the day." She said to me without looking up to see who it was.
"Im not here to look for a room to sleep the night." I said to her making her look up.
"So? What do you want?" She asked sizing me from head to toe then looking back at my face.
"May I make use of the hotel's phone?" I asked.
"No." She responded without a second thought.
"Please." I said to her. "It's an emergency."
"I can't let you use the hotel's phone. I don't know who you might be."
"Then how about yours?" I asked her. "May I use your phone?"
"Nope." She responded as fast as she did the first time.
My life had already taken a U-turn and the last thing I needed was anything to add to my frustration and headache.
"I'll pay you." I eventually used the card that I hated to use back then. J
"I'm sorry but do you think I can be bought over with money?" She asked looking at me with disgust filled eyes. I could easily tell that all she was putting on was just a defense mechanism. It was all fake.
"A hundred dollars." I said catching her off guard.
