Sorry, I'm the Final Boss Now novel Chapter 188

Judy didn’t live in the dorms. Her father had rented a two-bedroom apartment for her near the school, complete with a housekeeper and a private driver. Right now, she was sitting at home, eating a late-night snack prepared by the housekeeper and smiling as she scrolled through the comments on the forum.

The principal had said he’d expel Marguerite if she came in last on the next monthly exam, but Judy couldn’t wait that long. She wanted Marguerite gone now, and she wanted her to stay gone. With so many students demanding her expulsion, even the principal wouldn’t be able to ignore them, no matter how much he wanted to appease Theobald.

The most important thing was Joseph. Once he found out Marguerite was a twenty-nine-year-old, brain-damaged former coma patient, he would definitely lose interest. But Joseph was a dedicated student; he probably hadn't even seen the forum yet.

She thought for a moment, then sent him a message.

[Have you seen what’s happening on the forum?]

Normally, Joseph would be studying after getting home from evening classes. But tonight, he was staring at his phone. After Marguerite joined the class group chat, he had used it to add her as a contact again, though he hadn’t sent her a message yet. As he was trying to think of what to say, he saw the link to the forum being shared in the chat.

After reading the post, he’d been wondering who was behind it. Judy’s message confirmed his suspicions. It had to be her. He’d noticed her strange reaction to seeing Marguerite in the cafeteria. A normal friend, or even an acquaintance, wouldn’t have looked so panicked at seeing someone who was supposedly dead. There was clearly some bad blood between them.

Joseph disliked Judy. She was an arts student with terrible grades, not worth his time.

But Marguerite was different. He’d never met a girl with a more beautiful smile or a stronger spirit. To survive eleven years in a coma and then return to high school to take her exams… what incredible resilience.

He liked her even more now.

He had been thinking all day. Marguerite couldn't have added him just to sell him health supplements. The real reason had to be his brother, Joshua. She still had feelings for him, so she’d added his brother to get closer. His brother had been right.

ILoveMaggie: [Just wait until after the monthly exams. You’ll all shut up then!]

Judy’s face darkened. Then she saw another comment, one that stood out from the rest.

SlamDunkMaster: [This is Joseph. I do not agree with expelling Marguerite.]

Judy: “…”

She couldn’t believe her eyes. Impossible. That can’t be Joseph. It has to be an imposter!
