Spoiled By My Nine Beast Husbands (Emma Tibarn) novel Chapter 182

**When She Opened the Door to the Life She Was Afraid to Live by Nora Vale Kingsley**
**Chapter 182: Lessons from Silas**

“Who was the mastermind behind this idea?”

Emma’s thoughts danced through her mind, a whirlwind of confusion and amusement. The most risqué notion her sweet, innocent Corvin could muster to entice her was the playful flick of his ears and tail, or perhaps those daringly low-cut V-neck shirts he wore with such pride. She couldn’t help but chuckle at the thought. With his mecha-obsessed brain, he could never have devised something so… suggestive.

A deep blush crept across Corvin’s cheeks, spreading from ear to ear as he mumbled, his voice barely above a whisper, “It was Silas. I traded him a Rank 11 mecha just to learn how to do it.”

Emma barely had time to process his words before he swept her into his arms, tumbling her backward onto the soft bed. “Emma, I know I’m not the brightest,” he confessed, his voice laced with vulnerability. “I’m not as suave as Silas, nor as skilled as Prince Lucien. And I definitely don’t understand you like Edric does. Honestly, compared to Alaric, I’m just… not that good-looking. Please don’t dislike me—I promise I’ll do my best to improve.”

Who had gotten under his skin this time? And why did Alaric even factor into this?

Emma, feeling a surge of affection, wrapped her arms around him and planted a firm kiss on his cheek, her heart swelling with warmth. “Don’t let your imagination run wild. Whether it’s you, Edric, Lucien, or Silas, each of you holds a special place in my heart.”

She wasn’t some twisted huntress; all she wanted was to provide them with a sense of belonging, a welcoming home.

“Really?” Corvin’s eyes sparkled with a mix of joy and disbelief, as if he couldn’t quite grasp the depth of her words. “I knew it—you’re the best, Emma.”

He leaned closer, his breath warm against her ear as he whispered, “Emma, do you like me dressed like this?”

With a shy nod, she replied, “I do—but only when no one else is around.”

“Understood.” Corvin flashed a grin, fully aware that wearing such outfits in front of Lucien or the others would be a death wish. They’d likely tear him to shreds.

“Emma, I’m going to buy more outfits like this,” he declared suddenly, a gleam of determination lighting up his eyes. “I’ll wear them one by one just for you.”

It seemed Silas’ advice had worked wonders. Corvin resolved to reward Silas with yet another mecha for his exceptional guidance.

That evening, as Silas stepped through the door, Corvin wasted no time. He seized Silas by the arm, excitement radiating from him. “Silas, your method worked like a charm! Emma absolutely loved it. So I’ve decided to show my gratitude properly.”

Did he actually use it?! Silas thought, momentarily taken aback, before a faint smile crept onto his lips. “And how exactly do you intend to thank me?”

As fate would have it, Silas had something in mind that required Corvin’s expertise.

“I’m giving you another mecha,” Corvin announced proudly. “But it can only be a Rank 10 this time—I’m running low on Rank 11 beast cores.”
