Spoiled By My Nine Beast Husbands (Emma Tibarn) novel Chapter 209

**When She Opened the Door to the Life She Was Afraid to Live by Nora Vale Kingsley 209**
**Chapter 209: Silas’ Idea**

Marcus reclined on the couch, his eyes firmly shut, his head shaking slightly as if to dispel some uninvited thought.

“I trust you,” he murmured, though the words felt heavy in the air.

The room that had been meticulously prepared for Emma felt like a sanctuary, and he found himself wanting nothing more than to wait for her arrival.

Silas, leaning casually against a nearby pillar, shifted his stance and finally broke the silence, “Emy has already formed a bond with Edric. Now, it’s our turn. Everyone, let’s discuss what happens next.”

Corvin’s brow furrowed in confusion as he turned to Silas, his expression a mixture of curiosity and uncertainty. “What comes after this?” he asked, his tone betraying his bewilderment.

Silas regarded Corvin with a certain tolerance. If one of his own men had dared to ask such a naïve question, he would have unleashed a torrent of curses upon them. Instead, he focused on Corvin, his voice steady and calm. “There’s a lot to consider. For the first time, Emy will bond with each of us, one by one. No one will be overlooked.”

“But what happens after the first time?” Corvin pressed, his voice tinged with skepticism. “You three don’t plan on just sitting around, waiting for her to call your name again, do you?”

Silas couldn’t help but think, what kind of absurd joke is that? Emma was not the sort to take the initiative. If no one made the first move, she would remain passive, waiting for someone else to step forward.

The only person capable of coaxing her into action was Edric, and that was a source of envy for both Silas and Lucien.

Lucien, who had been resting his long fingers on the ornate golden armrest of the couch, finally lifted his gaze and directed it toward Silas. “What do you have in mind?” he inquired, his interest piqued.

As he spoke, both Corvin and Marcus, who had just stirred awake, turned their attention to Silas, eager for his response.

A faint smile crept across Silas’s lips. “I have a suggestion. We could speak to Emy about creating a few cards with our names on them. When she feels inclined, she can draw a card. The name that she picks will be the one who gets to be with her.”

Corvin was the first to voice his disapproval, his voice rising in protest. “No way! I’ve always had the worst luck. Anything that relies on chance is inherently unfair to me.”

He had never won a single lottery or drawing in his life, and the thought of relying on luck filled him with dread.

He would rather face any challenge than agree to such a proposal.

“Then what do you propose?” Silas asked, genuinely attempting to find a solution that would satisfy everyone, especially Corvin. With Corvin’s intellect, how could he ever hope to compete with Lucien or Marcus?

Yet, despite Silas’s efforts, Corvin still remained adamant in his refusal.

Lucien, standing tall and resolute, addressed the group. “Then we will compete for her affection. Use any means necessary to win Emma’s heart. I don’t care how you do it, but the rules are clear: no one can harm her, and fighting amongst ourselves in this house is off-limits.”

Compete? Silas felt a thrill of excitement at the idea. “I’m perfectly fine with that.”

Corvin clenched his jaw, his determination hardening. “Likewise.”

If it came down to a competition, he would return to the Ravaryn that very night and seek advice from his brothers, who excelled in both combat and courtship.

Marcus nodded in agreement. “Fine.”

With their consensus reached, Lucien noticed a message flash across his lightcore and excused himself.
