Spoiled By My Nine Beast Husbands (Emma Tibarn) novel Chapter 249

**When She Opened the Door to the Life She Was Afraid to Live by Nora Vale Kingsley**
**Chapter 249: First Time Luck**

Edric strode into the room, a plate of breakfast balanced in his hands, the aroma wafting through the air like a gentle invitation.

“Emma,” he called softly, “it’s time to eat. The family doctor I contacted yesterday has just arrived. I’ll have him check on you later.”

Kieran, perched nearby, perked up at the mention of the “family doctor.” His gaze snapped to Emma, curiosity etched across his features.

“Ms. Tibarn,” he questioned, a hint of disbelief in his voice, “didn’t you say you weren’t feeling ill? Why would you need a family doctor?”

Corvin, with a knowing smile, interjected, “Emma isn’t sick, Kieran. She’s pregnant.”

Time seemed to freeze for Kieran. His eyes widened, and he was momentarily at a loss for words.

Ms. Tibarn is pregnant? The realization hit him like a bolt of lightning, electrifying the air around them.

“Whose baby is it?” he blurted out, his mind racing. Someone must have struck gold to have a baby so soon.

Both Corvin and Edric shook their heads in unison, a silent understanding passing between them.

“It’s still early to tell,” Emma replied, her voice steady but laced with a hint of uncertainty. “We don’t know who the father is yet.”

Kieran’s eyes lit up at her words, a spark of excitement igniting within him.

“Ms. Tibarn,” he exclaimed, his enthusiasm bubbling over, “do you want to find out whose baby it is right now?”

Corvin, Edric, and Emma exchanged glances, a mix of intrigue and concern evident in their expressions.

Corvin quickly asked, “You have a way to tell?”

Kieran nodded vigorously, his excitement palpable.

“My clan possesses a treasure that reveals the identity of the father as soon as the female conceives. Just wait here, Ms. Tibarn. I brought it with me. I’ll fetch it!”

With that declaration, Kieran leapt off the balcony, his energy infectious.

A few moments later, he returned, sprinting back up the stairs, a large suitcase in tow. The suitcase itself was a marvel, a creation unique to Aquadome.

Crafted from the exquisite silk of Merfolks, it boasted an inner space that defied logic. It could hold an astonishing amount of items, far surpassing the utility of a mere storage band.

Kieran flung the suitcase open, and a torrent of storage bands cascaded out, creating a colorful mess on the floor.

His cheeks flushed with embarrassment, he turned to Emma, sheepishly admitting, “Ms. Tibarn, I had a bit too much to pack, so I had to resort to this.”

The trio stared at him, their disbelief palpable.

Seriously? Storage inside storage? Did this guy really bring everything from Aquadome with him?

Kieran rummaged through the chaotic contents, finally extracting an object resembling a bronze mirror, albeit with a unique twist.

Strange symbols adorned its surface, shimmering in the light.

“Ms. Tibarn,” he explained, his voice filled with pride, “this mirror is crafted from a rare shell found only in Aquadome. You just need to place one of your hairs and your partner’s hair on it. Whichever hair connects with yours indicates the baby belongs to that person. In Aquadome, this is how we determine paternity.”

He carefully placed the mirror in front of Emma, his eyes gleaming with anticipation.

Is it really that magical? Emma pondered, her heart racing with a mix of skepticism and hope.

After a brief moment of hesitation, she plucked one of her own hairs and laid it on the mirror’s surface.

Corvin and Edric, equally curious, followed suit, each adding a strand of their hair. The air was thick with tension as they all awaited the revelation of the truth.

One second passed. Then two.

Three seconds.
