**Chapter 265: I Missed You**
Emma’s heart raced as she received a message from Silas.

Without a moment’s hesitation, she quickly typed her response, “I’m fine, don’t worry about me. Just wait patiently—I’ve got a surprise for you.”
A surprise?
Silas’s eyes lit up as he read her message, a gentle smile creeping onto his lips. “Alright. I’ll be waiting!” he replied, his excitement palpable.
At the worktable nearby, Kieran had been observing Emma for some time, his curiosity piqued. As soon as she set her phone down, he could no longer contain himself.
“Ms. Tibarn,” he began, his finger pointing toward the figure on the table, “is that puppet your creation?”
Emma’s puppet was a masterpiece—meticulously painted and so lifelike that it seemed to breathe.
She knew exactly what Kieran was getting at; Marcus, Corvin, and Edric had been clamoring for similar creations in recent days. “You want one too, don’t you?” she asked, her tone teasing yet warm.
Kieran’s cheeks flushed a deep crimson, and he nodded, a hint of shyness in his demeanor. “Can I?”
“Of course,” Emma replied, her smile brightening. She had always been generous with her creations, especially for those who appreciated her artistry.
Meanwhile, at the Aquadome, the Second Elder of Drakonid, Thero, watched with growing concern as Drake continued to issue commands with relentless fervor.
“Mr. Smith, please, you really must take a break,” Thero implored, his voice tinged with desperation. “Ever since you returned from the battlefield, you haven’t paused for even a moment. You’re still injured—if you keep this up, your body will give in.”
Drake glanced at the towering stack of documents in his hands, his mind racing. After ensuring everything was in order, he signed his name with a flourish and handed the papers to the officer standing by.
“Ashenfall has suffered the heaviest losses this time. We must heed the Grand Elder’s advice—our priority must be the rebuilding of Ashenfall.”
“Yes, sir!” The subordinate acknowledged, quickly taking the papers and rushing away.
With Sebastian now stationed in Ashenfall, a considerable weight had been lifted from Drake’s shoulders; however, the remaining burdens still rested heavily upon him.
He could feel his mental fortitude beginning to fray. If the therian across the four domains were not pacified soon, chaos would reign.
He needed to finish everything before his mind shattered completely.
“Mr. Smith, please, I beg you—take a moment to rest!” Thero’s voice quivered, almost breaking under the strain of his concern.
He was acutely aware of the severity of Drake’s injuries. If he continued to neglect his health, something catastrophic could occur.
“Mr. Smith, I’ve just received news—Ms. Emma Tibarn is coming to the Four Domains. You’ve been thinking about her all this time, haven’t you? You’ve longed to see her again. Please, gather your strength; you’ll want to be at your best when you meet her.”
