Spoiled By My Nine Beast Husbands (Emma Tibarn) novel Chapter 335

Chapter 335 Under Lock and Key

Silas had a little one to care for now, so he couldn’t wear those clothes. So, Lucien had asked him for two sets of his robes.

Emma couldn’t help but chuckle in amusement as she imagined the usually composed and dignified Lucien going to Silas for sexy lingerie.

Although Lucien would indulge her when it came to having some fun in his uniform, he had always veered toward proper and formal outfits.

So, he would never, ever touch something like that.

At least not until last night.

Lucien was what one would call very straightlaced.

The fact that he felt the need to even go to Silas for those robesHe’d definitely put in a lot of effort to please her.

Lucien’s composure crumbled the second he heard her laughing. His face flushed crimson, his blood turning hot all the way down his neck.

He hissed in frustration, What are you laughing at? I know you think it looks good on me!

He was suffering thisthis indignity because he wanted to please her.

You’re right. It looks good. Fantastic, even,Emma hastily said upon noticing very real anger edging across his face. Then, she smiled, sat on the edge of the bed, and took a closer look at him.

Don’t be upset. I’m just really touched, she said softly. I didn’t expect you to go this far for me, especially not someone as elegant as you.

As she spoke, she slid her finger down his chest. She could feel the warmth under his firm muscles.

Lucien stiffened under her playful touch. He caught her wandering finger, tugged her into his embrace, and rolled them over so he was on top of her.

Then, he tilted her chin with a teasing hum.

I don’t believe you, you liar.

He knew that Emma was only saying those things to soothe his ruffled feathers. However, he couldn’t help but feel pleased with the fact that she was willing to soothe him.

Why would I lie to you about this?she protested. You really do look good in that robe.

If she had to be honestThere was something alluring about him when he wore it.

Really?he questioned, still rather skeptical.

Really, really, she replied firmly, giving him a solemn nod for good measure.

Lucien studied her closely. Before she could say anything else to convince him, a sly smile appeared on his lips.

Then, he lowered his head and nipped her earlobe lightly. Since my dearest Emma thinks I look amazing, then… I suppose I should help you take a good look at the goods tonight.”

The inky skies were dotted with stars as the moon watched on in its silver glow.

It saw how the black silk contrasted sharply against pale skin

Emma had to fight her eyelids when she woke up the next day.

She slowly flexed her fingers and immediately sucked in a sharp breath when she pulled something.

She felt as though she’d been run over by a starship as every muscle in her body was screaming and groaning in protest.

Lucien had fed her several sevenpetaled flowers yesterday night. Yes, she was referring to the flowers Silas had given them. So, she should’ve been as right as rain by now.

This was so Lucien’s fault.

Just as she was inwardly cursing her mate, she heard Lucien’s guilty voice coming from right beside her.

Emma, are you up?

Emma slowly turned her head, her muscles stiff with the effort. She then saw Lucien lying on his side, his eyes filled with worry and barely hidden guilt.

He was fully dressed, but his slightly mussed hair and the faint glow of satisfaction in his eyes

were telling enough. One look at him and everyone would know what they were doing last night.

I’m sorry,he immediately apologized, and he even sounded sincere. I shouldn’t have lost control like that last night.”

Emma was too tired to even bother right now.

So, she shot him a complicated look before weakly raising a trembling arm to gesture at him, rasping hoarsely, You’re hereby banned from ever wearing that robe. Banned, I say.

What? Why?Lucien looked at her in surprise.

That outfit was like some sort of key to your hidden wild side, she gritted out.

She couldn’t do this again.

Lucien couldn’t help but feel a mix of guilt and pride when he saw that she wasn’t actually angry at him.

So, he leaned down, pressed a gentle kiss to her forehead, and murmured, Alright, I’ll be good. I won’t wear it again.”

After all, he could always wear something else.

Emma had no idea what he was cooking up in his Aurelian brain.

Even if she did, she was too drained to care. Thus, she quickly fell into sleep’s embrace once more. She was so tired that she didn’t wake until it was well into the night.

By the time she opened her eyes, she immediately saw that the sky had already gone dark.

Still, she felt utterly refreshed after a full day of rest. The fatigue and soreness that had been weighing her down were definitely gone now.
