Spoiled By My Nine Beast Husbands (Emma Tibarn) novel Chapter 338

**When She Opened the Door to the Life She Was Afraid to Live by Nora Vale Kingsley**
**Chapter 338: The Wounded Enchanter**

How did Malrik find himself in such a perilous situation? Emma’s brow furrowed deeper, a storm of worry brewing in her chest. “Corvin, we need to pinpoint Malrik’s exact location again, and we need to do it fast!”

“On it!” Corvin responded without a moment’s hesitation. He swiftly retrieved a precision scanner from his storage band, placing it firmly on the ground. His slender fingers flew over the virtual keyboard, tapping with urgency as streams of blue data cascaded down the hovering display like a digital waterfall.

Within moments, the device emitted a soft chime, and a solitary red dot flickered to life on the three-dimensional map.

“Found him!” Corvin exclaimed, excitement lacing his voice as he pointed at the glowing mark. “He’s just under two miles southeast of us, on a mountainside. The signal’s stable!”

“Two miles?” Silas echoed, his expression clouded with concern.

The deeper one ventured into the mountain range, the thicker the mist became, wrapping around them like a shroud. It was a treacherous place, where losing one’s sense of direction was all too easy—entering was simple, but escaping felt nearly impossible. Yet, despite the looming dangers, they had no choice but to press on.

Silas turned to Emma, determination etched on his face. “We’ll leave markers for Lucien along the way. That way, even if the signal drops, he’ll still be able to track our movements.”

The signal might be stable for the moment, but there was no telling when it might waver or vanish entirely.

Emma nodded in agreement, her resolve firm. “Understood.”

To ensure their safety, she instructed Corvin to transmit their real-time coordinates to Lucien.

With everything set, Silas and Drake took the lead, racing into the mountains with a sense of urgency.

A deep growl rumbled through the air as Marcus, transformed into his majestic wolf form, surged forward like a flash of white lightning. His powerful limbs pounded the earth in a rhythmic cadence, propelling Emma along with astonishing speed. The wind howled past her ears, the landscape blurring into a whirlwind of shadows and light.

Close behind them, Kieran and Corvin followed, slicing through the eerie stillness of the mountains like a blade through silk.

Nearly an hour later, they came to a halt before a cliff face that was cloaked in dense, tangled vines, a natural barrier that seemed to guard the secrets within.

Silas stepped forward, pressing his hand against the foliage, feeling the life pulsing beneath the surface. After a brief moment of contemplation, he stepped aside and began peeling back the vines, revealing a dark opening concealed within the stone, like a hidden treasure waiting to be discovered.
