Spoiled By My Nine Beast Husbands (Emma Tibarn) novel Chapter 367

**When She Opened the Door to the Life She Was Afraid to Live by Nora Vale Kingsley**

**Chapter 367: Gifts and Suspicion**

“Thanks.” Drake’s smile blossomed as he glanced at Corvin, a spark of mischief dancing in his eyes. He reached into his storage band once more, pulling out yet another gleaming Rank 11 beast core, alongside several Rank 10 cores, and unceremoniously stuffed them into Corvin’s arms. The sheer weight of them nearly toppled Corvin over.

“Brother, there’s no need for you to feel embarrassed or overly polite with me. If you ever find yourself in a bind, just say the word. I’m here to help.”

As Corvin stood there, arms overflowing with the beast cores, a wave of dizziness washed over him. “Drake, you’re unbelievable.”

Anyone who dared to claim that Drake was a difficult person clearly had no clue what they were talking about. He was warm-hearted, generous to a fault, and genuinely good-natured.

Corvin felt a swell of emotion rising within him, so much so that he nearly teetered on the brink of tears.

“I’ve got to dash now. But remember what I said earlier. There are scammers lurking all over the lightcore. They’ll start off friendly, casually asking questions until they peel back your layers and unearth your identity. Then, before you know it, you’re ensnared. Don’t fall for that trap. Keep your truths close to your chest, especially from strangers.”

Drake nodded, his expression serious. “I understand completely. I’ll be cautious.”

Corvin’s sincerity struck a chord with Drake. He took the warning to heart, knowing full well that the world they inhabited was fraught with deception.

As soon as Corvin departed, Drake wasted no time opening his lightcore and responding to Embrace of the Moon. ‘I understand now. I know what steps to take.’

His interaction with Corvin had confirmed his earlier thoughts: gift-giving was indeed an effective strategy. He had merely overanalyzed the situation before.

His eyes caught the previous message inquiring about his rank. Recalling Corvin’s caution, Drake typed carefully. ‘Rank 10.’

On the other end, Silas raised an eyebrow at the response.

A Rank 10 who could casually distribute such a bounty of Rank 11 beast and insect cores?

Whoever this individual was, he certainly didn’t hail from Central Planet. No Rank 10 therian clan there had members so lavishly tossing around treasures.

Could he be from the Four Domains?

Aside from Marcus, who else in the Four Domains possessed such extravagant wealth?

Silas, under the guise of Embrace of the Moon, replied, ‘Are you a therian from the Four Domains? Which clan do you belong to?’

Drake read the message and frowned, sensing the probing nature of Silas’s inquiry.

Corvin’s warning echoed in his mind once more.

‘Frostveil Wolf Clan,’ was Drake’s simple reply.

Given that Embrace of the Moon already suspected a connection to the Four Domains, and within those Domains, the only ones capable of giving away such a wealth of Rank 11 cores were either Marcus or himself, Drake decided to toss Marcus’s name into the mix as a means of diversion.

“Heh.” Silas stared at the response, a sharp laugh escaping his lips.

The Frostveil Wolf Clan?

In that clan, only Marcus and the Wolf King himself possessed that level of affluence.
