Spoiled By My Nine Beast Husbands (Emma Tibarn) novel Chapter 403

**When She Opened the Door to the Life She Was Afraid to Live by Nora Vale Kingsley**

**He Blew Up The Kitchen**

Lily clung to Dahlia’s side, her eyes darting back toward Lucien with every step they took. The distance between them felt like a chasm, one she was reluctant to cross. She stole glances at Lucien, her heart aching at the thought of leaving him behind.

Lucien, on the other hand, felt a wave of nausea wash over him. The weight of her gaze was almost unbearable, as if it were a tangible force pulling at his insides.

As soon as Kael and the others departed, Marcus emerged from the lounge, a look of determination etched on his face. He quickly noticed the six storage bands lying on the table, glinting in the ambient light. Without hesitation, he grabbed one at random and slipped it onto his wrist, a sense of ownership washing over him.

He turned to Lucien, a smirk playing on his lips. “I’ve done quite a bit for you this time around. I assume I get a share of these storage bands, right?”

Lucien nodded, his expression unreadable. “Yes, you do get a share.”

He extended his hand toward Marcus, a gesture of ownership. “The one on your wrist is yours. Hand it over.”

Marcus blinked, momentarily speechless. “You just said it’s mine. Why should I give it to you?”

The thought echoed in Lucien’s mind: This is what I deserve.

Lucien replied, his voice steady but with an underlying edge, “True, it is yours. However, everything you possess ultimately belongs to Emma.”

“Just give it to me now. When we return, both my share and yours will go to Emma together.”

Marcus stood there, momentarily dumbfounded, struggling to process the implications of Lucien’s words.

As silence stretched between them, Lucien raised an eyebrow, a dangerous glint in his eyes. “It seems you’re reluctant to hand it over. Does that imply you’re hiding a secret stash for yourself?”

The moment Marcus heard the words “secret stash,” a rush of indignation surged through him. He yanked the storage band off his wrist and flung it toward Lucien. “I’m not hiding anything! Emma already made it clear last time that she’s not angry with me anymore.”

Lucien’s persistence was infuriating.

He actually had the audacity to threaten me over a mere secret stash.

Lucien caught the storage band mid-air and added it to his own collection with a satisfied nod.

When the adjutant returned, Lucien tossed him two storage bands with a casual flick of his wrist. “One of these is for you. The other one, distribute it among your men.”

Lucien had always been generous toward those who served him.

“Understood,” the adjutant replied, a grin spreading across his face as he accepted the bands and left.

Once they were alone again, Marcus turned to Lucien, his brow furrowed in thought. “Kael just handed you ten storage bands in total, right? You kept one, gave me one, and handed two to the adjutant. So what about the remaining six? You’re not seriously planning to give them all to Calum, are you?”

Lucien nodded without hesitation. “Of course, I am. He is my superior, after all.”

“That guy doesn’t deserve it.”

Marcus was adamant, his voice rising with conviction. “Just give me all the leftover bands, and I’ll take them to Emma. Calum’s Emma’s suitor now, so whatever he possesses is rightfully hers.”

The idea of anyone in the house harboring a secret stash was preposterous.

That included Calum, without a doubt.
