Chapter 485: Clash

Without hesitation, Damon disappeared and reappeared in the completely opposite direction, fully evading the attacks but it did not matter. Five sword slices once again appeared in front of him out of nowhere. It looked like there was no evading these attacks.

Damon gritted his teeth. What the hell was that sword?

He immediately erected a thick and strong blood barrier to block the attacks, sending his shadow clone to continue harassing the three. He had to deal with this shit but that did not mean he was going to give those three any breathing room.

Damon tried [Spirit Step] to evade the first one but even as the sword beam neared him, he did not have the confidence at all. This was going to hit him and it was going to hurt.

"Motherfucker!" Damon roared as he watched the sword beam cut through his shoulder. His health dropped in a chunk and his right arm went numb. He quickly patched up the injury but just as he feared this was far from over.

The first slice didn’t fade. It looped back like a boomerang, the other four chasing right behind it. Damon frowned. This was bad. This was very bad. How could these sword slices be indestructible? There should be something he could do.

His gaze instinctively shifted towards the man with the golden mask. He stood indifferently, observing Damon’s misery. Above his head, the powerful ring of divine energy was still open and the sword was shining brilliantly in front of him. Even gazing at that thing directly, made the oppressive pressure coming from it worse.

Then suddenly Damon had an idea. He was going about it all the wrong way. If Damon couldn’t touch the five sword beams, then he needed to go after the caster or the sword. The sword was clearly out of question but there was nothing stopping himself from attacking the cocky bastard who was watching him calmly.

Out of the three new figures who had popped out of nowhere, one had already disappeared. Damon had no idea where he went or who he was. He had never seen these three before, not in his both lifetimes.

He woman was still here and his clone was currently trying to corner her. Damon immediately summoned back his clone and ordered it to attack the man with the golden mask. At the same time, he appeared behind the guy and opened his mouth to let out a loud roar.

The clone’s attack came through first and hit some sort of hidden barrier just as Damon had thought. When his wyrm’s breath finally came out, the five sword beams caught up to him but at the same time the golden mask guy was completely drenched in the powerful flames.
