Damon’s figure blurred and appeared in another location the next moment. Before Viola could find him there, he once again moved and appeared somewhere else. He was like a ghost that kept jumpscaring her, appearing in random places.
But every time he appeared, the people around him folded like dummies, crumbling and falling to their deaths.
Damon happily absorbed the blood essence while continuing to torment the poor woman.
Meanwhile, Erin had a savage smile on her face as she continued to rain hell everywhere. Like Damon, she did not restrict herself to the West. She was everywhere and released torrents of black miasma all over the battlefield.
Between her attacks and Damon’s earlier poison blasts, the very landscape outside of Niera city was quickly changing.
Even though everyone was currently standing in the light faction continent, where the environment, air, mana, earth, and everything should be favorable to the light faction players, the situation right now was completely different.
Both the miasma and Damon’s poison were stubborn entities that refused to clear out the area. No matter how powerful the cleansing and protection skills were, parts of them lingered and seeped all around.
Almost everyone on the battlefield began to accrue passive debuffs.
Even the super guild armies filled with elite players couldn’t keep up with the constant health and mana refills. Both Michael and Viola were at their wits’ end. Viola had it worse as she was personally targeted by Damon.
The woman could only helplessly watch as none of her curses landed. She shouted in rage as mana danced around her and her mind worked tirelessly, tossing one skill after another on Damon, somehow trying to pin him down.
However, the bastard always seemed to have an endless amount of escape skills at his disposal. She did not understand how someone’s mana reserves could be so insane. It was as if he had limitless mana!
She was the heaven’s blessed. Her body was made to use mana. She was born to be a superior mana vessel, and yet in front of this madman, she could only feel like a second-tier human.
Every time she aimed, Damon was gone. He popped in, bodies dropped, and he drank the red threads without even looking. Her curses slid off him. Her decoy tricks snapped. Her seals cracked.
"What are you all still doing? You protected me enough already. Just go and kill him!" She finally screamed at her NPC guards, unable to bear the constant pressure of watching everyone around her drop like flies.
These were not any normal players. They were talented elites trained by her family for generations and now Blood God was randomly killing them like cutting down cattle. It was unbearable for her to digest.
