Storms of the Heart novel Chapter 25

Julian's face darkened instantly, his gaze cold and terrifying.

Without even glancing at Sienna, he barked at the guards behind him, "Escort her out immediately! She is not allowed to set foot here again without my permission!"

The guards immediately moved forward, polite but firm as they pried the small pair of scissors from Sienna's hand and attempted to remove her from the premises.

Sienna's eyes widened in disbelief, crying out, "Julian! How can you treat me like this? Don't you remember what we had before—"

"Enough, Sienna," Julian interrupted, his voice devoid of warmth, his gaze icy and cutting straight to her. "Out of respect for the past, I promised to cover your medical expenses until you recovered. That was my last act of mercy toward you."

He paused, his tone turning even colder, carrying a clear warning. "But if you dare to disturb Trin again or cross my boundaries, don't expect me to show any mercy. Your illness will be your own problem then."

Those words struck like the harshest judgment, shattering every last bit of Sienna's illusions.

She looked at Julian's eyes, filled with unhidden protectiveness and ruthless resolve, then at Trina, who had remained completely indifferent. Overwhelmed by despair and jealousy, she nearly fainted before the guards half-dragged, half-carried her out of the townhouse.

Even after dealing with Sienna, Julian felt no relief. Trina's indifference was like a thorn lodged in his heart, constantly piercing him day and night.

He began to wield his power, delving into the events of the past, especially the details surrounding Sienna's supposed attempt to harm herself.

The more he looked into it, the more inconsistencies he found.

The kidnapper who had abducted Sienna years ago had mysteriously died shortly after being imprisoned, abruptly cutting the trail off.

Even when it came to the so-called rare blood disorder Sienna had claimed to suffer from, her medical records were full of inconsistencies and gaps.

Experienced medical experts who reviewed her records subtly suggested that her condition was likely exaggerated, and some of her symptoms may have been artificially induced by drugs.

As for her emotional breakdown and suicide attempt, there were witnesses who hinted that she had walked toward the railing herself, timing everything with alarming precision…

Piece by piece, detail by detail, a chilling truth began to take shape.

Julian, a man who had always prided himself on being sharp and composed, realized that he had likely been manipulated from the very beginning by Sienna's carefully crafted schemes and calculated lies.

The remorse and shock that washed over him hit like a tidal wave, more intense and profound than anything he had ever felt before.

He tracked down Sienna, whose mental state had already become unstable, and laid the evidence he had gathered directly in front of her.

At first, she tried to argue, to twist the narrative, but faced with irrefutable proof, her defenses crumbled.

She admitted that she had exaggerated her illness and that the so-called suicide attempt had been carefully staged to force Julian into choosing between her and Trina, all in a desperate play to win him back.
