It felt good to finally be able to say all the things that I wanted, the things that I’d craved but never had in my mate bond. I’d felt guilty about it at first, starting with things that seemed less intense. But Christina had only seemed to get more excited with each suggestion. And honestly, the restraints had been a surprise, but a good one. It had forced me to give up control and in doing so, I’d been able to tell her everything that I wanted.

I’m not sure, however, that she realized the primary thing that I said, the thing that I wanted most. Her. That had come from my wolf, and it had been so unexpected that I’d thought she’d balk.
