Chapter 128: Christina
Christina
When James calls an end to the meeting, he stays to talk more with Finn and go over the curricula with him. Sebastian and I take our class information back to our room. Our room. I moved my things into his room after breakfast. It’s tight, but I don’t care and neither does he.
When we get to our room, he rips my clothes off me and takes me hard and rough against the wall, both of us desperate to connect again. We don’t separate again until dinner time and. then once we’re back in our room, it’s similar to how it was before. We talk, go over our schedules and ideas for our classes and then we make love for hours. It feels good to be back into our routine. It’s comfortable but also better this time since our connection is stronger.
The next day we get to the first stop for the young Alphas. Alpha Logan is the only one at this stop. We all congregate to greet him.
“Welcome back, young Alpha,” James says when he boards.
“Thank you. It’s good to be back,” he says, coming around to greet everyone. When he gets to me, his nose goes up in the air and his eyebrow rises. I smile and pull my shirt away from my neck to show him my mate mark.
“Congratulations. Have you told Tyler and Ezra yet?” he asks.
O
“Not yet. We were planning to do that this afternoon,” I tell him.
“I’d like to talk to all of you this afternoon as well, preferably before the others board. I know they’ll get there this semester, but I already have some things I know I need to deal with and I’d like to get a head start on them so I’m ready when I go home at the end of the semester.”
“I take it you had a rough time when you got home,” Sebastian says to him.
He scrubs his hands down his face. “You could say that. It was sort of like an early hell week for me. Do you know who is teaching Dealing with Crisis this semester?” he asks.
“I am,” Sebastian tells him.
“Then you and I will be doing a lot of talking, Alpha. Who is your back up?”
“I am,” I say.
He turns and looks at me and a slow smile spreads across his face.
“Congratulations again, Alpha,” he says.
“Thanks, Alpha.”
His eyes twinkle with mischief. “Who’s teaching the Strength class?”
“I am,” I say, and he bursts out laughing.
“It’s going to be one hell of a semester. Make sure you tell Ezra and Tyler you’re an instructor. They’ll be sad they’re missing it.

Hey, that reminds me. Tyler and Haley?” he asks.
“Mates,” I tell him.
“Good for them. I’m sad I’ll have my birthday while I’m here, but it is what it is.”
“When’s your birthday?” Charlotte asks him.
“Next week. You wouldn’t be interested in making me a cake for my birthday, would you?” he asks her.
“What kind?”
“I love chocolate cake.”
“I can make you a chocolate cake for your birthday.”
“Thanks, Charlotte.”
“You’re welcome. And, uh, I’m assigned as your partner for the sex class.”
Logan becomes serious. “We should talk, sooner rather than later. I won’t be making the same mistakes this semester that I did last semester.”
“Okay,” she says.
After lunch, Sebastian and I go to our room and video call Tyler first, telling him and Haley the good news. They are both very excited and invite us to visit them in their pack. Next, we call Ezra who has just returned home after helping Liam.
“Congratulations! I’m really happy for both of you,” he says.

“How is Liam?” I ask him.
“He’s… better than I would have expected. He chose well for his Beta and Gamma in my opinion, and they are all working hard to bring his pack back to a working, functional, profitable pack.”
“I’ll have James reach out to him and offer our assistance and. guidance if he needs it,” Sebastian tells him.
“He’d appreciate that. He’s working hard, but without his Luna and with the pack in chaos, he could use whatever support your could offer him.”
“What else do you need to work through,” James asks him.
“Two things, as of right now. I need to work through my anger at the woman I thought was my mother. We did a bit of that when I was here before, but I really need to focus on it this semester. I want to be a good mate to my Luna when I find her. Right now, I‘ m not so sure I can be the man that she would deserve. I never cared about finding my mate before, but now, I really want to find her. I want to make a change in my life and in the pack. They deserve better than what they’ve suffered with my father’s
