Chapter 175
Chapter 175
Chloe and Arthur had been partying hard for two days straight.
On the afternoon of the third day, they headed to the racing club.

With Arthur’s friends cheering and hyping her up, Chloe confidently put her drifting skills on full display.
The moment Chloe tightened her helmet, all she could hear was her own heartbeat thundering in her ears.
She was addicted to that rush of freedom you get when you have total control over the speed.
But what got her even more hooked was that dizzy, weightless vibe as her body whipped sideways through every drift.
In those split seconds, it was like every ounce of stress and negativity got tossed out onto the track, gone with the wind.
The setting sun turned the track into pure gold. Chloe, rocking her racing suit and a high ponytail, held her helmet at her side and flashed the camera a confident, winning smile.
In that moment, she was the undisputed queen of the racetrack.
After partying hard at the bar with Arthur and his friends, Chloe finally headed back to the hotel to crash for the night.
On her way to her own room, Chloe happened to notice that one of the suite doors was left wide open.
Feeling nosy, Chloe poked her head in and thought, ‘Wait, is that Ian?‘
She craned her neck for another look and realized, ‘No way, that’s Mitchell too!‘
Chloe, a bit buzzed, sneaked along the wall and slipped into the suite. She spotted Mitchell wrapping Andrea up in a tablecloth and carrying her over to the big bed, while Ian was busy wiping down the cups. After Mitchell came back in, he grabbed a lady’s phone off the table and started fiddling with it.
Both guys were acting super sketchy–whispering to each other, furtively glancing around like a pair of guilty thieves.
Chloe bent low and crept up behind them in full stealth mode, then suddenly let out a loud “Boo!”
Ian was so startled he dropped his cup, and Mitchell did the same with the phone.
Both of them froze when they saw Chloe, then quickly exchanged awkward, guilty glances.
Chloe asked Jan, “How did you two end up here?”
Jan shot a dark look at Mitchell, noticing how tipsy Chloe was, and said, “Did you seriously forget to close the door when you came in?”

Mitchell, still rattled, patted his chest and stammered, “I… uh, must’ve been too nervous, I…”

While Mitchell was still stammering out his excuse, Ian turned around only to see Chloe had already slipped
into the bedroom.
Before Ian and Mitchell could step in to stop her, she was already taking action.
Smack!
Chloe gave Andrea such a hard slap across the face that she snapped right back to reality.
Mitchell saw lan had spent all night trying to finally get Andrea under control. He’d just managed to snatch the secret phone Andrea had stashed away, but before he could extract any useful info, Chloe’s sudden slap snapped Andrea right back to consciousness.
lan’s face clouded over, and Mitchell’s fear was palpable–he didn’t even dare to breathe.
Andrea instantly sobered up when she saw Chloe walk in.
She stared at Chloe in utter disbelief and blurted out, “What are you doing here?”
Chloe pointed right at Ian and Mitchell, raising her voice at Andrea, “Girl, snap out of it! You’re being-”
Before Chloe could even spit out the word “played,” Ian stormed over and scooped her up, tossing her over his shoulder.
Andrea felt a chill run down her spine as she caught Chloe’s desperate ranting.
She hurried to the dining table, tore open her purse, and visibly relaxed when she realized her phone was still stashed in the hidden compartment.
Andrea turned to Mitchell and asked, “What just happened? How did I end up falling asleep?”
Mitchell’s mind raced, and he braced himself before replying, “Sorry, Ms. Sherman. I must’ve left the door open when I came in. You were pretty tipsy, so Mr. Hamilton helped you to bed. Out of nowhere, Chloe barged in and started fussing with Mr. Hamilton. She accidentally slapped you, and that’s what woke you up.”
‘So that’s how it went down,‘ Andrea thought.
If that damn Chloe hadn’t barged in and spoiled everything, Ian and I would’ve wound up in bed together by now, Andrea seethed.
But then, Andrea started to sense that something just wasn’t right.
Ian had promised he’d take her to Europe for some R&R, but what are the odds–turns out Chloe is staying at
the exact same hotel.
Tan totally came all the way here for that bitch Chloe,‘ Andrea seethed, fury blazing inside her.

The lipstick smeared across his lips and the fresh scratches on his neck spelled it out in neon–he’d been with that slut Chloe, and there was no hiding what they’d just done.
Even with all the tension between them, they still ended up sleeping together as husband and wife.
But ever since she came back, especially these last few days, no matter how much she tried to tease or hint at him, Ian didn’t react at all.
Around her, lan acted all abstinent, almost like a monk–like he never even wanted anything from her.
He’d protect her, help her out, even favor her sometimes, but none of it was because of love. It was just pity and guilt, nothing more.
Real love isn’t something you can hold back.
You just can’t help but want to kiss them, hold them tight, and claim them as your own.
Your body never lies–it’s always way more honest than any words could ever be.
Andrea was absolutely certain–Ian’s heart belonged to Chloe.
Andrea had even secretly gone to a psychologist to analyze Ian’s psyche.
Ian had grown up with his grandfather and father keeping him on a tight leash, boxed in by strict rules and endless expectations.
His entire upbringing was just like his personality–uptight, by–the–book, never once coloring outside the lines.
When she entered Ian’s life as his supposed savior, he couldn’t help but see her through a filter of gratitude, projecting all kinds of ideals onto her.
When Ian finally agreed to be with her, Edward stepped in with iron–fisted authority and forced them apart. That heavy–handed move gave Ian the perfect opening to challenge his family’s control for the first time.
On the surface, it seemed like Ian was fighting for her–talking back to his parents and grandfather, even risking serious rifts within the family.
But at the core, all that drama was just the boiling over of years of pent–up frustration. He was really just venting all his resentment toward his elders–it wasn’t even about her.
Back then, Andrea just couldn’t bring herself to believe it.
But now, she truly believed it.
She had to figure out a way to make lan divorce that bitch Chloe, and she had to do it fast.
Even if she could never officially join the Hamilton family, she was determined to stay by lan’s side, without a title or status–just so she could keep living the high life and soaking up all that luxury.
Early the next morning, an absolutely bone–chilling scream exploded out of the bathroom in Chloe’s suite- loud enough to make anyone passing by think someone was being straight–up murdered in there.
