After Aria and Alessa were done welcoming the guests, they headed back to their table as the entertainment began.

Damien and Aiden were at the table and they were having a conversation. Whatever the conversation was seemed to interest Damien a lot because he paid so much attention to it.

“No, this is the first time and I had no idea until it was too late to turn it down,” she replied as she brought the glass closer to her lips.

“I guess someone has been stalking me.” she cut him off and chuckled a little as she took a sip from her drink.

“I always have,” he replied and again, her heart skipped a beat. She sighed and shook her head a little.

“Have you forgotten why you are here, Cara?” he asked.

“Don’t call me that,” Alessa replied sternly. Damien paused and stared at her for a few minutes, she was talking back at him a lot and was disrespecting him. He does want that, he doesn't like that.

“Look at me when I am talking to you,” he ordered and Alessa dropped the glass in her hand immediately and turned to him.

Damien held her gaze, staring deep into her ocean eyes.
