“She is busy now, sir but I can pass your message to her,” Thane replied but Bryan shook his head a little.

“No, I have to see her.”

“You can. You can meet Damien too, come on.” Aria said and pulled him out of the ballroom immediately.

“Fuck.” Thane muttered and ran his hand through his hair. His head was all over the place at the moment. He couldn't even do his job properly.

“No, cursing,” Aiden said as he poked his legs. Thane stared down at him and Aiden stuck out his tongue at him.

“Your girl was taken from you.” he mocked and Thane rolled his eyes before carrying him. Aiden chuckled as Thane placed him on his shoulder and headed into the house.

“Do you mind sharing your genius plan?” Damien asked Alessa as she let down her hair. They were in the living room waiting for the kids.

Alessa decided to wait for them, being alone with Damien isn't the best decision. He can't just show up out of the blue just to see her, there was something more to this.

“It's my plan, it shouldn't be shared,” Alessa replied without turning to him.

He was leaning on the wall with his hands in his pants pocket while she was sitting.

“Oh,” Damien muttered and nodded.

Alessa exhaled as she felt her heart race, it had been racing all night since Damien showed up.

She bit her lip as she thought of asking him a question. It could upset him but she would ask anyway.

She looked at him and noticed his eyes were on her. Alessa wasn't surprised, he takes his time when he stares at her.

He never gets tired, it's like he discovers something new about her every time.

“When… when are you leaving?” she stuttered. He didn't give a response immediately which made Alessa’s hands tremble a little.

“Get up,” he ordered and Alessa did immediately. He slowly pulled his hands out of his pants pocket and walked towards her. He stood in front of her and Alessa felt her heart was about to burst due to how fast it was racing.

“It's okay, breathe,” he said softly and lifted his hand to her hair. Alessa closed her eyes a little and exhaled heavily.

“There you go,” he mumbled.

“Mummy.” They suddenly heard Aria call and Alessa exhaled in relief as Damien pulled away and stood next to her. Alessa smiled as she waited for her to show up in the living room.

She walked into the living room and Alessa froze seeing Bryan with her. Bryan paused as he saw Damien too.
