The twins walked into the dining room and met their mother and Damien having breakfast.
“Damien,” Aiden called with a smile and punched his arm which felt so soft to Damien.
“Hey,” Damien replied as he ruffled his hair. Alessa was a little bit surprised, they weren't mad at him.
“Will you feed me?” Aria asked as she moved closer to him.
“Sure,” he replied and she smiled widely as he carried her on his lap then Aiden sat next to him.
“Why are you guys not mad at him?” Alessa asked as she stared at them.
“Why will we be mad?” Aiden chuckled as he started to eat from Damien’s plate.
“He told you about Bryan,” Alessa replied.
“That doesn't matter, we can't get mad at Damien,” Aria replied softly and placed her head on his chest. Damien stared down at her and chuckled lightly.
Alessa smiled a little before staring down at her meal. She sighed and ran her hand through her hair.
Her children love Damien so much, too much.
“Are you leaving soon?” Aiden asked Damien.
“Yeah, I've got work to do,” he replied.
“When?” Aria asked.
“In a week,” he answered.
“A week? That's soon.” Aiden sighed.
“But it will be the best week because I will stay here with you guys and we will have fun while your mother will be in Mexico for business,” Damien said and Alessa choked. She hurriedly gulped a glass of water then turned to Damien.
“I’m sorry, what?” she asked, confused.
“You have a business to handle in Mexico,” Damien said, staring at her.
“I have a business there? When? How? Why?” she rushed her questions.
She had no idea what he was talking about, he never mentioned anything about Mexico to her.
“We will go into the details later but you leave tomorrow,” Damien said and Alessa was about to speak but he gave her a look.
She sighed and shook her head a little.
“Wait, if you are staying with us for a week, will we get to go anywhere we want?” Aiden asked Damien.
“Hmm.” he nodded in response and the twins screamed happily.
“We will help you pack your bags,” Aiden told Alessa as they screamed happily.
“Oh, fuck.” Alessa sighed.
~
“Did you get all that?” Damien asked Alessa and she nodded in response. They were both in her study and he was explaining what she needed to do in Mexico to her.
“Why do I have to do this again? You’ve got men who work for you, I don't work for you.” Alessa said as she moved closer to him. He was seated at her table.
“You are the best person for this job,” he replied. She didn't give him a response, she slowly walked to him.
She stood next to him for a few seconds before slowly straddling him. Damien wrapped his arms around her waist and Alessa played with his hair.
“How bad did you cheat on me while I was away?” Alessa asked as she stared at his eyes. He didn't respond immediately, he kept staring back.
“I didn't,” he muttered in response and he used his thumb to caress her waist.
“Not even once?” she raised her brows.
“Cara, what do you take me for?” he asked.
She chuckled and shook her head a little.
