Celia was incredibly busy; it had been a year since they had last seen each other.
"I know, it's been way too long," Celia said with a smile. "I can't believe we ran into each other at the airport. Come on, I have a car waiting. We can go to Freya's place together."
"Okay."
The two of them walked out together.
Less than half an hour after getting in the car, they arrived at Gonzales Manor.
With the wedding the next day, the estate was bustling with activity. Staff were busy hanging festive red decorations and lanterns.
Norris and Caitlin were at the door to greet them.
"March, Celia."
"Freya!"
The three friends embraced.
After a warm exchange, Caitlin said, "It's cold out here, let's go inside."
"Sounds good," Celia nodded.
She and Caitlin walked ahead, while Norris and Celeste followed behind.
Norris gently ruffled her hair. "Why didn't you tell me you were coming early?"
"I know you're all busy. It's not a long trip, and it's not like I don't know the way."
Norris smiled. "In the blink of an eye, Freya's getting married. I guess we're next, huh?"
"Oh, stop it!" Celeste shot him a playful glare and quickened her pace to catch up with the others. "Freya, Celia, wait for me!"
Watching her go, Norris couldn't help but smile.
Hedwig and Babette appeared from around a corner, whispering to each other. Hedwig wanted to call out to Norris but was afraid Caitlin and the others would hear. The sound that came out was a soft, "Pst, pst, pst~"
Norris, his attention entirely on his girlfriend, didn't hear his mother's signal and kept walking.
Seeing her son ignore her, Hedwig muttered in exasperation, "Look at him, completely smitten!"
Babette chuckled. "Come on, let's go over. We have to ask him about this today."
Hedwig nodded, and they hurried after him.
At the corner, Hedwig picked up her pace and whispered, "Norris, wait a second!"
The sudden voice startled Norris. "Mom! What are you doing, sneaking around like that?" Spotting Babette beside her, he quickly greeted, "Aunt Babette."
Babette smiled. "Was that young lady your girlfriend?"
Hedwig quickly added, "The one in the blue down jacket, the one called March!"
"Yes," Norris confirmed.
The Richards uncles and aunts had met Celeste before and knew she was a good friend of Caitlin's, but they weren't well acquainted.

So happy for Carey, the reunion with her family is touching. Can we read more of Caitlin and Gordon? Readers are forgetting that Caitlin has a boyfriend by the way. Is it normal for their relationship to be erased in the storyline?...
Update please......
But where is Gordon?...
Great story, great author!...
