By the end, Hannah was in tears again.
She missed Freya so much.
So, so much.
Nineteen years.
They’d been searching for Freya for nineteen years.
Nineteen long years.
Seeing Hannah like this, Molly gently tried to comfort her. “Mom, we haven’t confirmed anything yet. We still need to do the DNA test. We can’t be sure Dr. Kensington is really Freya. Please don’t get too worked up. We’ve invited Dr. Kensington to visit the house tomorrow. I remember Freya had a birthmark—a reddish spot on her arm, right? Tomorrow, let’s try to see if Dr. Kensington has the same mark. If she does, then we’ll go ahead with the test.”
Over the years, searching for Carey Richards and Freya Gonzales, they’d encountered so many people who resembled Carey—some even had surgery to look more like her, just to scam them.
After so many dashed hopes and disappointments, and with Hannah’s health so fragile, the family had agreed: this time, they’d wait until they were absolutely sure before getting their hopes up or proceeding with the test.
“Alright, alright.” Hannah immediately started to get up from the bed. “Dr. Kensington said I can be discharged anytime. I want to go home and get ready.”
“Mom, don’t rush. Get some rest first. You can go home later this afternoon.”
Hannah nodded, then asked, “By the way, did you notice—did that girl have dimples when she smiled?”
Carey didn’t have dimples, but Freya did.
Even as a three-month-old baby, Freya could already smile.
Back then, Hannah loved making her granddaughter laugh. Whenever Freya smiled, Hannah felt her heart heal just a little.
Even though they only had a few short months together, Hannah remembered everything about her granddaughter.
Caitlin was escorted to her hotel by Warren Richards, Willis, and the couple, Jade Sinclair and Kelley.
Jade and Kelley each held one of Caitlin’s hands. “Dr. Kensington, don’t forget about tomorrow.”
“Thank you so much, Lady Jade, Lady Kelley. I won’t be late.”
“Great. We’ll send a car to pick you up.”
Jade and Kelley simply adored Caitlin—the more they saw her, the more they wished she could be their daughter.
As Caitlin walked away, Kelley turned to the others. “Well, what do you think—could she really be Freya?”
“She is. I’m sure of it,” Willis replied firmly. “I have a feeling—she has Richards blood in her veins. I just know it.”

Can you please publish another novel - sorry for your loss, its me am the loss...
So happy for Carey, the reunion with her family is touching. Can we read more of Caitlin and Gordon? Readers are forgetting that Caitlin has a boyfriend by the way. Is it normal for their relationship to be erased in the storyline?...
Update please......
But where is Gordon?...
Great story, great author!...
