Ann could hardly believe her ears—Caitlin’s words were riddled with contradictions.
A good doctor would only ever talk about blending the best of tradition and innovation, not spouting nonsense about “mutually exclusive medical philosophies.” Was Caitlin really here to help Stuart recover, or was she trying to do him in?
Ann couldn’t listen any longer. She was just about to speak her mind when a gentle hand came to rest on her shoulder. She looked up to find Amanda’s eyes fixed on her, full of silent warning and meaning.
Amanda’s message was clear. Ann hesitated, then swallowed back the words she’d been about to say.
Keira turned to Caitlin and continued, “Alright then, Freya, from now on, we’ll leave your father’s care entirely in your hands—no more doctors, just you.”
“Yes, Grandma,” Freya answered obediently.
Keira reached for Stuart’s hand, her voice trembling with emotion. “Stuart, it’s almost over. Soon, all the hardships will be behind us.”
Nineteen years. She’d waited nineteen long years for this moment, clinging to hope throughout every single one.
Hannah dabbed at her tears. “Keira, our family’s trials are finally coming to an end.”
“They really are.”
Amanda smiled warmly. “Freya truly is our family’s little lucky star. Ever since she came home, not only did Mom’s headaches disappear, but now even Stuart is on the verge of waking up.”
She turned to Ann, her tone gentle but pointed. “Ann, look at your sister. Freya’s already accomplished so much at such a young age. You should learn from her.”
Ann managed a polite nod and forced a smile. “Of course, Mom. I’ll do my best to learn from Freya.”

Amanda had already prepared the guest rooms and arranged accommodations for Caitlin and Fortune.
After settling the Richards family into their respective rooms, Keira and Amanda personally led Caitlin and Fortune to their own quarters.
Amanda smiled as she opened the door. “Mr. Kensington, I wasn’t sure what style you’d prefer, so I prepared a garden suite inspired by classic English estates. And just next door—Freya’s room.”
The Gonzales estate was vast. Even before Caitlin had been found, Keira had set aside the best suite in the manor just for her.
Fortune chuckled. “Catie, you’re too generous. I’m just an old man; any room would do for me.”

So happy for Carey, the reunion with her family is touching. Can we read more of Caitlin and Gordon? Readers are forgetting that Caitlin has a boyfriend by the way. Is it normal for their relationship to be erased in the storyline?...
Update please......
But where is Gordon?...
Great story, great author!...
