THE DIVORCE GAMBIT From Dumped Wife to CEO's Forever novel Chapter 473

There’s no such thing as being too polite.

Katrina had made up her mind. On this trip to Neon Spire, she was determined to win over the little princess of the Gonzales family.

She wanted Freya to accept her as her future sister-in-law, no questions asked.

That was the only way.

Only then would her position in the Richards family be truly secure.

After all, who knew how many gold-diggers out there were eyeing Xavier?

She couldn’t let someone else swoop in and snatch him away.

Jeanette smiled and said, “Alright, I’m free all day anyway. However long you want to shop, I’m with you.”

Truth was, Jeanette had her own reasons for currying favor with Katrina.

The Richards family had thirteen grandsons. Easton Richards was married with children, and Xavier had a girlfriend, but that still left eleven eligible bachelors.

And each of them was exceptional. If Katrina could win over the Richardses’ approval, then Jeanette hoped Katrina might introduce her to one of the ten remaining brothers. With a connection like that, she could go from ordinary to extraordinary in an instant.

Who didn’t want to rise above their station, after all?

Celeste had already changed into her new clothes.

Once she was dressed, she and Caitlin headed up to the fifth floor to browse handbags.

Just then, the air was suddenly filled with the sound of a ringing phone.

Caitlin pulled out her phone. It was a video call from Sebastian Richards.

“Hey, Sebastian,” Caitlin answered, smiling into the camera.

Sebastian looked puzzled. “Freya, what were you up to just now? I tried calling you several times and you didn’t pick up.”

“I must’ve been busy and didn’t hear it,” she replied.

Hearing Sebastian’s voice, Celeste perked up and immediately leaned over into the frame. “Sebastian, you won’t believe it—Catie and I almost got bullied just now!”

Bullied?

At that, Xavier and Julius, who were nearby, immediately crowded into the video, faces tight with concern. “Who tried to mess with our Freya? March, tell us what happened!”

Caitlin wasn’t just a sister to them—she was their precious little angel, and they’d never even spoken harshly to her, let alone let someone else push her around.

Now, someone actually dared to pick on their darling?

Caitlin took the phone and said, “Sebastian, Xavier, Julius, I’m going to finish shopping with March. We’ll talk later tonight, okay?”

“Alright, Freya, you hang up first,” the brothers chorused.

They always insisted Caitlin end the call, as if she was the queen and they were at her service.

Caitlin ended the video call.

Celeste hugged Caitlin’s arm, her eyes full of envy. “Catie, you’re so lucky to have so many brothers doting on you.”

Caitlin glanced at Celeste and grinned. “No need to be jealous. My brothers are your brothers, too. If you fancy any of them, I can play matchmaker.”

Celeste squinted playfully at Caitlin. “What if I like all of them except the married one?”

To be honest, the Richards brothers were all handsome in their own way. Each had his own charm.

Celeste could hardly choose.

Caitlin’s eyes sparkled with mischief. “Well, if you can manage to win over all twelve, I’ll happily give you my blessing!”

Celeste nodded seriously. “Looks like I have my work cut out for me.”

As they passed a men’s store, Caitlin ducked in to buy a few new outfits for Fortune for the changing season.
