"I've sent you Karla's bank statements," Weston said. A moment later, he added, "Huh, doesn't look like there's anything unusual."

"No problem."

"Hey, Boss Caitlin," Weston added, "when you have some time, want to grab a drink?"

"I quit," Caitlin said.

"Quit?" Weston was shocked.

"Yeah."

He chuckled. "I forgot, you never liked drinking anyway. Good for you."

When he'd first met her, she never touched alcohol. She had only started drinking heavily two years ago. At first, he'd tried to warn her against it, but she wouldn't listen. Eventually, he just started drinking with her.
