But now that the moment was here, Decker's hand trembled. He couldn't bring himself to touch it.
*Knock, knock.*
A soft rap on the door.
Decker glanced back. "Come in."
His younger brother, Plumley Blake, entered. "Hey, bro." He held out a bowl of chicken noodle soup. "Mom said you haven't had much of an appetite lately, so I made this for you. Give it a try?"
"Thanks," Decker said, taking a sip.
"We're brothers, man, no need for thanks!" Plumley grinned. "If you like it, I'll make it for you every day." He paused, scratching his head. "Actually, bro, there's something I wanted to ask you…"
"What is it?" Decker looked up.
Plumley sighed. "Gwyn's parents are pressuring us to get married again."
"I already bought you a house and a car, didn't I?" Decker frowned. Plumley hadn't gone to a good college, but he was handsome and cycled through girlfriends, unlike Decker, who girls avoided because of his appearance.
"Yeah, I've got the house and car, but I still need a job," Plumley said. "Hey, bro… what if you gave me your account?" He watched Decker's face carefully. "My gaming skills are just as good as yours, plus I'm handsome. If I go on camera and clear up those bullying rumors for you, your fanbase will explode!"
